How come the forum is back early?
And DD, I walked my first 5km last year? I think they are normally full of people who aren't hugely in to running so I don't think you would be the only one walking/running
xxx
Thanks Buffy, that is certainly encouraging, maybe I should register and think, what the hell? If I run a bit then great but no biggie? We all have 3 free drinks too:beer: they can be doubles if we want but I think I will stick to single JD and coke, I know where I am with that and I can have just plain coke inbetween.
Its the food I am looking forward to. Got my costume all ready, bought of Ebay and will be back on there on Monday:D
Some people have paid over £70 for their outfits:eek:
This is mine although I only paid £10 for mine and the feather headress on the model is about 4x the size of the one that actually came with the dress, I think the ones I got are bloomin chicken feathers they are that small:rotfl:

Oh, don't you just love these moments... Elliot was running around and getting a little bit hyper so I asked him if he was tired and wanted to go to sleep - he went and climbed in his pushchair by himself (big 3-wheeler that lays flat, has napped in it for months rather than his cot), pulled the blanket from the hood over himself, and went to sleep! :T :T :T usually it requires a fair amount of persuasion and rocking or walking to get him to go off... peace at last.
So if my light is on please kick as this is a chance to study :eek:0 -
Right, just entered a load of comps, lets hope they prove fruitful!!
Off up to The White Rose Centre soon to return the white gold chain that my hubby got me for Christmas that snapped a few weeks ago
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
