Interesting Becky-
Both are incredible achievements, (Yes, I call me runnning less than 6 months and doing 10k an incredible achievement) but to me it would have to be the goals achieved by myself and the rest of us that did the Leeds 10k.
Hear me out-I know all the talented ladies that did it, I do not know the runner you are talking about, hence the achievement while great does NOT inspire me. Snags got me out for my first run, Sammy is my personal trainer, Spud over came massive confindence issues, Sal ran a speedy race despite it being very congested. I know all these people, I know their stories and they are my friends. THEY inspire me on a daily basis. They have helped me through so really tough times, they are my wonderbra bunch-they support me, and they make me look great through my affiliation through them, I love them.
An olympic althete in any sport are awe insipring, but they do not spur me on the do something I never would have before-this bunch have.
I looked at them and thought 'If they can do it, I can too'. And I did. And I am damn bloody proud of me and my wonderbra friends.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
