Well done Sammy and Scourgey on running the tough race - they'll all feel easy after that at least :D

    Sammy you did 65:34 - not 71minutes!!!! :D:D

By the way Buffy - its actually uncommon to have water provided for 10k - its a bit rubbish when it runs out but really organisers are under no obligation to provide it all for such short distances...

Oooo hello, runchum.....you didn't slow me down you numpty! If you hadn't been there I might have given up too....I think my garmin is broken - its still f****n beepin at me......telling to go round a corner...will have to reset it methinks....

LOL, tell it shut up or throw around the room or something.

I've put the water on so I can have a bath in a bit. Just had a KFC for tea, and on the way home stopped at the petrol station just round from yours, filled up and got a bottle of pepsi max, large bag of beef hula hoops and a bag of randoms :o

I hadn't had any missed calls when I got in the car. And when I told K that I had done the run he said that we were nuts. He hadn't even contemplated that I would've run today in this heat, and then felt really guilty cos he hadn't wished me goodluck.

Will be nice to see the photos of Chloe, she is so beautiful

Becky, where did you find the results?

As for 6.1 miles being such a short distance, if youd've said that to me after the race today I would probably have tried to kill you :D

LOL - if I did it in 65.34 I will run round my street naked (in the dark obviously) don't want to scare the neighbours much more.....

I don't normally need water, I can't drink it and only really use it to swill my mouth out and then chuck the rest over me (when its a hot day) they did say there would be two water stations and would add a third if it was particularly hot.....not today then:rotfl:
