I am such a bad person, I got fran a box of his favourite chocolates for fathers day. But, he's been away for a month and I got a bit squiffy one night and opened them... so now I'm scoffing the rest of them before he gets in because if he sees them he will know they were originally for him, I'd never buy them for me... I feel sick:D

I did replace his box of chocolates with a Gretchen Wilson CD. We went to see her the night Lily was conceived... so I thought that was a better gift anyway.

:rotfl:I'm actually quite glad you didn't do the race....no offence:o it was enough to put you off for life....a bloke at the end said it was the most challenging 10k he had done to date....it has just got to be the heat!

Plodding hippo did the race today though (I would love to have met her) - she has just done 100 marathons :eek:

She was 'almost' the youngest there and although not last pretty close..

It was well organised and my friends daughters ran round holding her hands the whole way through....

If you say to Chloe 'run like the wind' she just takes off - its so funny.....I will try to post some pictures of her later...

It must've been bad if Scorgy said never again. Even Spud the unfit slug never said that

Spud honestly it was awful. There was about 9k of hills and 1k of flat. I would never have made it round if it hadnt been for Sammy. I could've quite easily given up and gone home after the first hil, and that was just round the corner from the start :eek:

Sammy, D only beat you cos I was slowing you down

Oooo hello, runchum.....you didn't slow me down you numpty! If you hadn't been there I might have given up too....I think my garmin is broken - its still f****n beepin at me......telling to go round a corner...will have to reset it methinks....
