Succumbed to the temptation to weigh myself a day early this week, and despite the splurge on birthday cake, compounded by two glasses of wine on Sunday, I've lost another 2lb, so am happy with that. Still another 25lb to go though!0

weighed myself and am 11stone 8lbs. not the heaviest i've but heavier than i want to be. so first goal is to get under the 11 stone.
did 30mins stepping on wii as weather is not great here today. did as many steps as i could. managed just over 3300 steps. think this time wise would be just over mile and a 1/4 so will try and do another 15-30mins later to achieve my aim of walking 2 miles a day.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

okay, I've finally trekked over here!! I figure Finn's 6 weeks today so it's time to stop making excuses and get on track
. I actually weigh almost the same as when I first got pregnant, but that weight was about 3 stone more than what I want to/should be, so I still feel like I've got "baby weight" to shift.
My goal is 3 stone in time for my sister's wedding in late July. I'm a bridesmaid, so even sooner would be better for dress-fitting!
To do this, I shall:
- stop baking/eating unhealthy things and instead only make snacks that are healthy & I won't feel guilty eating
- snack less and control my cravings
- eat more fruit & veg (and less dairy)
- exercise at least 3x/week, more is better. Exercise counts as walks 30min+, Wii Fit time, or a Tae-Bo workout from my DVD
- no food after 9pm. If I have to eat anything after dinner, it will be 100 cal or lesstop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

So I gained a stone after stopping breast feeding. My weigh in day is a Monday, last Monday I was bang on 15stone, but I have been really good so hopefully I will have lost some come Monday.
Using the wii fit, doing a routine of yoga - half moon, tree and plam tree, then torso twists and warrior pose to help my back. Then jack knifes and leg twists. A 6min jog (think it's 6mins, the long one), 10mins steps (but I grab a can of chopped tomatoes in each hand while I do this) and occasionally some hula hooping. That makes it upto 30mins.
Tonight I did it without the wii fit, 3min jog and 10mins steps using my phone stopwatch. Good to know I can do it while watching telly rather than pulling the wii out. Going to do a waist measurement on Monday too.
Etaing wise I have found that i do need to snack. Mid morning and afternoon snacks are the key to stopping me stuffing my face with junk. As well as a supper (a scone or toast and jam). I look forward to the supper and can refuse junk knowing that I'm going to get my supper. Also, my aim is for 2lt of water/squash a day (4 glasses, I measured it).
I need to cut back on coffee again though.0 -
I tend to do 30 mins jogging which kills me but i cant be bothered to exercise most of the time so i do that to get it out the way!! ive not weighed since last monday where i had lost 2 pounds but since then ive been on, and when i weigh monday, i expect to be the same because of it.. ive not eaten anything i shouldnt of, but ive not done as much exercise this week as the last 2...
for those who have a wii, i bought "my fitness coach cardio workout" for a tenner and if you like boxing its brilliant!! alot faster than the wii fit plus boxing, and you can unlock jogging and skipping too! for 10 quid, id def recommend it
i walked round town today and i needed new jeans... the ones i wear are a size 18 from dorothy perkins but theyre the only ones i have. i dont like the idea of buying too many clothes in my size 18 size, but the ones i wear i wear all the time and they desperatly need washing!! so i go back to DPs, i find ONE pair of size 18s left.. i try them on, and i cant get them past my knees, even though theyre bootcut, and exactly the same as the ones im wearing now which i have a bealt on as theyre so loose now!!? i normally feel gutted/suicidal when not being able to find jeans in my size etc but i thought oh well.. ill wait till these jeans are too loose to wear at all and THEN ill buy some. the stupid thing is, my top half is also an 18 and im wearing one of their t shirts which is in an 18 (i bought in their sale a few weeks ago) anyway i picked up a nice top in their today in a 14 as i WILL be that size one day... i tried it on and what do u know, its a little tight, but it wasnt far off!?!?! 2 sizes smaller than what im wearing!!! i have this problem in ever shop i get jeans and trousers in!!!
anyway, i had a lovely chicken salad for lunch, dinner is a piece of gammon and veg, followed by some boxing! im not giving up, its just not an option!!

In DP I was too fat for a size 20 in one style, and fit perfectly in a 16. work that out eh?

... dj i'll have to check that ok i love the boxing on wii fit so might have to invest in that ... tia snacks and junk ive only just started wanting it although ive been on for about a week and half now finshed so hoping the cravings finish remember to allow yourself one night you're only human and that one night will give you something to look forward too .. dj on the jeans im different sizes in different places so i wouldnt go on just them go on waist size rather then the sizes ..
weigh day for me and im hoping ive done enough to be hitting my target and that 1lb as gone then i will set my new target of 9st 7lbs xStill searching .....:)
