    !!

im now 15.3 (was 16.5!!) so 4 more pounds and ill be in the 14s, and i was about 14.5 when i found out i was pregnant so i feel like im ding really well.

Wow! Congratulations that's a huge weight loss in a short period!

I'd go for the pedi if I were you, and don't worry about how your feet look as they'll have seen much worse before. I had one when I was 8 months pregnant with swollen feet which I hadn't seen for months much less cared for, and it was a really relaxing experience and they looked great afterwards.
  • Fab weight loss DJ!

I lost a total of 8lb in January which I'm very happy with as I've been a bit half hearted with it. I will try harder for February and I'm hoping for another half stone. Will pop back when LO is on bed and post a list of my 'rules' for February.

Well done SM for geting so close to your target, and to everyone else who are doing so well :j

I have lost another pound this week, so thats 7lbs in the first month which I am really pleased with as I haven't been too strict with myself.

We did go out for a meal last weekend and I stuffed myself silly, but went for a VERY long walk after, so hopefully I walked off most of the extra calories.

EDIT: Just realised I am half way to my goal that I wanted to reach by march, so I am on target!

  • Okay, this was January's list and what I managed:

    1. Walk with Henry everyday- this will mostly be with him in his sling and I'm aiming for 1-2 miles a day at a good pace- Hmm, not everyday, but most days. Need to start walking further and faster I think.
    2. Healthy breakfast everyday, five fruit and veg everyday, soup or salad for lunch, only snack on fruit or yogurt during the day- Did well on breakfast and lunch, but lapsed a bit on the snacking. Back on track for feb- only yogurt, fruit or cereal bars.
    3. No takeaways- Had two the whole month, which is very good for us!
    4. No booze (not that hard as the last time I was drunk was NYE 2008)- Managed until the 26th! Had one glass of wine with friends!
    5. Drink more water- did drink more but could do better!

Okay, so for February I will:

    1. Stick with healthy breakfast, healthy lunch and only snacking on fruit, yogurt or cereal bars.
    2. Walk everyday with Henry, plus at least one other exercise session a week (either a run, pilates or swimming)
    3. At least five fruit and veg every single day.
    4. Drink more water
    5. Try a new dish every week (a low fat one)

I think those are doable, I might well add to it if anything strikes me!

thought i'd enrol myself on here.

jeans were tight (too tight for comfort) last week, but after a 3 mile walk last wed, a few extra trips to asda and 2 miles on monday. not forgetting the walk to/from station and around trafford centre they did fit me today....

so next week will try for
    2 miles mon
    2 miles tues
    3 miles wed
    2 miles thurs
    2 miles fri

allowing for rain (but if its for mum/baby group unless its teeming down i will still go)

want to lose 1 1/2 stone by end of april.

have cut out snacks. (omg how easy is it to scoff a whole pack of biscuits when baby is asleep and you sit down with a coffee and chat on here!! )

    chips just once a week
    1 bar of chocolate
2 pints of lager per week (usually 4 halves on my darts night)
change ~K upstairs so this approx 5 up/down per day just on nappy changes

will weigh myself on wii fit tomoz and report back on what i weigh.
will do my miles on the free step programme if need be.
