Orange offer....

Just off the phone with Orange.
Was on the OVP £40 for 300mins ( I think that was the cost)
I mentioned t-mobiles tariff and the very helpfull guy agreed that they are offering some very nice tariffs at the minute and he would see what he could do.
They gave me 500mins xnet and 500 txts for £25 a month and a free handset, oh yeah and only a 12 month contract.
Getting a Treo 650 handset - I see new ones are being sold on ebay for £200, so I suppose if need be I could sell it and continue using my SE P910i
All in all I'm happy with my deal, should half my bill compared to what I was paying.
(With T-mobile I could get approx 100 more mins and txts for only £1.50 more but its a 18month contract and don't know what handset I could have got from them. Also Orange are the only network that have a good signal at my house, so I'd no real choice I was staying with them no matter what, lol). Why do companies offer you "free gifts?"
Since when has a gift NOT been free?0 -
the 500 minutes and 500 text deal is what i've been on for the last 9 months.
For an extra £10 you may have got 750 and 1000 text but you deal is still a good un.nothing.0 -
i'm shopping around trying to get a good deal and have tried to call Orange a couple of times and get a 500 min X-network, and 100 text for £30 month and they're not having any of it!!!!
Is this a big ask do you think?0 -

Usually only use about 300/400 mins a month and about 200 txts. No real need for anymore. Should save me about £25/month on what I was paying, and I get a free Treo 650 out of it. So I'm pleased. Why do companies offer you "free gifts?"
