I have been entirely rubbish at sticking to my meal plan......partly due to the heat.
I ended up freezing my left over chicken. I did do the risotto though, which was lush and had it the following night too.
Last night I just had a sandwich when I got hungry..... (LO had been at his friends house for dinner) - it was too hot to cook, or EAT!
Tonight Im planning to have pasta and some salad.... Im off to find my original list and reviseSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

This weeks' thread is up, and I realise I've not posted last week's plan
The garden is producing loads, so I want to make space in the freezer for that, so need to get sharper with my planning :T
Sunday – Roast Berkshire pork rib roast, HG new potatoes, HG veg; HM scones, HG strawberries and clotted cream
Monday – HG summer vegetable risotto
Tuesday – barbeque – HM pigeon and pork sausages, HG salad, HG new potatoes
Wednesday – the rest of the posk, shredded, with hoi sin sauce and salad, in HM tortillas
Thursday – spaghetti with HM spicy sausage pasta sauce
Friday – HM calzone and garlic dough balls, HM salad
Saturday – barbeque
I’ve made scones, cranberry chocolate brownies and a coffee cake. DD has finished school, so our lunches are “freezer surprise”.
Off to plan for this week, now
