Well the end of last week was gorgeous weather here, but very hot so my mealplan went to pot as we didn't want to eat the things I had planned & I didn't feel like cooking them either.

    Here's this weeks.....

MON - Roast pork loin, mash, roasties, stuffing, carrots, broccoli & gravy.

TUE - Chicken curry, rice & salad.

WED - Chicken kievs, roasted baby new potatoes & salad.

THUR - Sausage casserole, mash & veg.

FRI - Breaded cod, mash, peas & white sauce.

SAT - Pizza, wedges & salad.

SUN - Spag bol or takeaway.

Have most things at home, just need to buy more salad, spuds, bread & milk.

Could I have the recipe for this please? It sounds wonderful! :D

The pie was actually a success :T (With us anyway :o) It was an invention to accomodate some sausagemeat in the freezer and a small pack of stuffing that had been in the cupboard since Christmas... Basically, make up 8oz shortcrust and squash together made-up stuffing and sausagemeat (about equal amounts by eye, not necessarily weight) to fill it with. I baked it for 15 minutes at 220 then another 35 minutes at 180C. Next time I will try to make a similar tasting pie with organic pork mince, breadcrumbs, onion and sage.

If it was the Chestnut Creams you were after: I mashed tinned chestnut puree with icing sugar and put in the bottom of serving dishes. I whipped double cream with icing sugar just to sweeten a bit, then used this to top the chestnut. Grated dark chocolate over the top. Yum! :)

    Thanks

Hi :) I just toss the mentioned ingredients with a bag of smart price tortilla chips (50p :T) with a little grated Cheddar with plenty more on top. This goes under a medium grill until the cheese has melted on top. If you have any chillis hanging around, these are lovely added to the mix. As it turned out tho, I only did a version of this. Instead, I just tossed the chips with cheese and blended the roasted pepper, a sundried tomato or two (a little oil from the jar to loosen it) and a few kidney beans into a yummy dip.
