Hey Dev, try going on HPC and raise the topic of how the market has bottomed and see what rational discussion you get then :rotfl:
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher

I'd get a load of people laughing at me, as the market hasn't bottomed!

But I tell you what I would get too. A reason WHY it hasn't bottomed. Not just insults.

    Should we try it :D

Is it just me, or is this starting to get a little awkward and embarassing?

Nice info in the first post, I think things are more complicated this time around but this is the time I would have liked to start looking to buy -
5.4 Sunday 21 JUN 1992 - The Sunday Times - 'Boom days gone forever' as house prices still fall

Might not have been the bottom but in sentiment it sounds about the worst - overly negative and incorrect

Rest of the thread is a comedy act :D

It's uncanny. It's almost identical to what is being said this time . How can anyone believe this baloney? I hope no-one is mad enough to buy in the middle of the crash.

Buy on the way down and sell on the way up?
Is the only time to buy just before prices rise, I reckon people might come up with their own reason to buy besides prices and that should be the greater factor

I suspect that the best time to buy is when you need a house to live in.

    I could be wrong . . . .
