He's just copied it, big deal.
But look at the thankers to the insult, those who are being proven wrong!
AD9898 being one of them Graham,
AD enjoys the banter Graham somthing which seems a bit lost on yourself.
"isn't bendix a bear? I read it as a bit of banter we all know AD works!)0 -

Pull your head in, Graham. It was a tongue-in-cheek dig, not an insult. And as ad himself thanked me, it didnt fly way over his head the way it did yours.
For the record, I'm a bear on house prices too, and totally agree with the tenor of his message.
*sigh* I'm wasted around here. I really am . . . .0 -
Apologies then. Just seemed like a reasonable post followed up with a post trying to belittle another for posting it.0

Graham, you really are a dunderhead sometimes.
Being proven wrong? Me? I think not.
Let's see, who in that group had money on house prices dropping? ie put their money where their mouth was.
Me.
Who still thinks house prices will fall further?
Me..... possibly others in that group I wouldn't presume to talk for them.
Does it mean I slavishly have to hold that view point no matter what? Does it mean I can't try and get a rise out of ad every now and again?
No.
You really take this far too seriously. Lighten up a little you'll enjoy the board all the more.

But do you seriously wake up and think . . .'Now what can i find today to bait the MSE bulls with?'JonnyBravo wrote: »It feels like you're trying to convince yourself more than anyone else with this repost.
Are you having a weak moment?
Seriously, think about it. Did you really post this to convince other people or were you sat thinking......
"I'm not wrong.....
am I?"there's much better 'bear food' out there to post or are things getting a bit thin on the ground where it comes to bad news that will affect house prices...
interesting [STRIKE]article[/STRIKE] copy and paste from HPC.co.uk though
Like I said, apologies if I got it wrong and seems I have, but all that above doesn't just look like a little fun. Looks like upset posters to me trying to have a pop at the OP.
I'm all for fun, but this board seems to be getting more like Kindergarten each day?
Maybe it's time I just left the board alone, or just read and didn't comment, probably better for all
Think I may sign up to HPC so I can actually put something up for discussion, and actually, discuss it0 -

please don't do the Carol victim routine on usGraham_Devon wrote: »Think I may sign up to HPC so I can actually put something up for discussion, and actually, discuss it
there's good stuff on there but you have to dig very, very, very deep to get to the substance on there. it's also a bit of a closed shop when it comes to positive views - there are very few... it's much more chilled and diverse on here.
it would be a boring place if we agreed all the time - wouldn't it?0 -

Graham . . some friendly advice, mate.
When you're in a hole, the last thing you should do is keep digging.
Now, please, hand me that shovel back immediately.0 -

Are you AD's minder 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

What's the Carol victim route? This isn't me crying victim, I would have had a real rant if it was
Just keep getting told I'm wrong all the time in every thread, maybe it's time I just took some notice.
I agree, the HPC stuff can be a little out there at times, but I like the discussion side of it. This isn't a pop at anyone here, but seems people tell you you dont understand, ask you for facts to prove it, you give them and they ignore them telling you you simply don't understand...again.
That's what struck me with this thread, it's facts, but it's just turned into a personal jab thread....even if that is all fun for those included.
I simply cannot see this whole sniping at each other stuff on HPC. I'm not a member (yet), but do read there and gain more knowledge from there than here in all honesty, especially about markets. My first post in this area of the MSE forums was saying I didn't know much, but wanted to learn, and people such as Generali, AD, Jayscottgreen (if I have that correct) have been a massive help. But you really have to wade though loads of cherry picked "facts", insults and endless arguments (which I'm part of) which concentrate on the smallest of points, to get there.
Simply bored now, hence my possibly premature post earlier attacking others. So I'm just telling myself, maybe it's time I looked elsewhere, as things aint gonna change here (and why should they to suit me!?), but it's not a victim call0
