    If they had better call and text rates and worse data rates I could understand your comment, as it stands a 'competitor' has the same rates for calls and text and better data rates, what is their target market?


    On this tariff they are clearly only interested in offering low rate calls and texts to customers who dont use the phone a lot. They are not interested in the data market.

    If you wanted cheap payg data use you would use a different supplier.

    The fact that it doesnt offer cheaper data service would not normally interest low users anyway.

    All true, I just don't see how the Asda tariff is any different. they don't advertise the data rates overly, nor play on the fact, the calls and texts are the headline advertising fact. I can't see the Asda tariff suddenly deterring a casual user because the data rate(which they have zero interest in) is so low?

    I've got my asda sim but not wapeed number yet.

    If there another package that has calls & texts as cheap as asda but an even better data deal?
