Hi mmm,
Not to worry.
After the upgrade happens you will have a 10 day period where BT test and moderate the line to ensure stability. During this period you may (strangely) experience slower speeds prior to us establishing what your new "up to 8Mb speed is".
If you're still experiencing slow speeds outside of the 10 day mark, please let me know and I'll raise a ticket.
You can test your speed via "My Account" from our homepage. I hope that makes sense - more information on the 8Mb upgrades here.
