Glastonbury Rip Off!

The one time I've been to Glasto I was warned about how expensive the food was, but I didn't bother and it cost me less than a tenner a day and was well fed. I did take my own booze in with me, so didn't pay for that so that's not included!0

I must say the food/drink at Hyde Park Calling was reasonably priced for a festival (or any sort of gig) and it even said on the website how much stuff was at the concessions stands so you knew how much to take.
It's stuff like this that would entice me back to that particular festival, as it seems it's the same line-up whichever you go to this year.0 -
Ive just come back from Glasto and i took food and drink with me and i only spent £30 on site!!! My petrol was £50 but that is still no near £600.
Its a real shame you missed it as it was a fantastic weekend and well worth the money you pay for all the bands you see.0 -
and cut to ribbons too. Erm, probably.
I used to do 4-5 festivals a year, now I work for the company that designed the security fences. Now that people, is getting old. :rotfl:.....should we all tunnel in now

I had an amazing time too and even staying in a hostel and only booking my train 3 weeks before the date of travel (I won tickets last minute so couldn't prepare), and eating lovely food and buying things onsite such as jewellery, I reckon it was about £350 and I can't wait to do it all again next year.0
