just phoned solicitor - they have still not heard back from the vendor's solicitor.
just phoned EA. the woman I spoke to this morning who was going to chase the other side finished work at 1pm today and left without calling me back!

It's getting late in the day now! A simple phonecall from your vendor to their solictor will be enough to either put a rocket up their wotsit, or at least explain what the delay is.
There is someone at the EA office who has access to your vendor's telephone number. I'd get on the phone to the EA now and refuse to put the phone down until they call your vendor. Some people just don't know the meaning of the word proactive and have obviously never been in the same situation themselves. They've only got to relay a message! :wall:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

cant believe this, I have been chasing this for weeks. my DH got p*ed off- put in one call to the solicitor and exchange happened 10 mins later. gah!0 -
