I wasnt blaming the guy in front of me.. but after leaving me waiting 15 mins wat the hell did he expect?!?!?!?!?!!! The manager said during that time he told the guy to apologise but theres been a problem, and then go again, but he just didnt.. he just left me!
I was close to walking out! Then he comes back and puts the new case IN MY HANDS saying "you can have that one instead". He didnt consider the fact he left me waitng, he didnt consider the fact that i'd reserved a leather one.. not a !!!!ty plastic one... he didn't consider ASKING me if he can offer an alternative, he tried forcing me to take the alternative.
Thats good service? No chance[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

If I remember correctly from the Ts&Cs when you reserve an item and its not available they don't actually have to offer you anything as a replacement. Found this out during our chat with our bloke about the DVD drive we reserved.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I would have rather him being very nice and apologised for not having it in stock, and ye just apologising really but being nice, than him in a grumpy mood handing me something of poor quality as a replacement just to get me out the way?
as an extreme example its like handing someone who wants an alienware laptop, the lowest spec dell... its still a laptop... but different "spec". I wanted a leather case that i knew fit my lappy and had got good reviews etc, and he offered a cheapo rubbish material one?... as i said, it would have looked better for him to kindly apologise and move on...[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Same thing happened to me.
Reserved 2 webcams through the collect in store. Drove 30 mins to the store and they didn't have either of them there. The manager gave me 2 better ones for the same price.
He told me that happens quite a lot. They only do a stock-take once every 6 months and the collect in-store thing assumes that their current stock levels are up to date. So if it's 5 months since they've done a stock take and people have been pinching things then they are going to be way off.
Stupid thing is though, to get the 2 other webcams at the same price I'd ordered the first ones for, the guy ran the collect in store through the till. So now their stock system is going to be messed up for both the webcams I originally ordered and the ones they gave me instead!0 -
.. at least the Dell would work .. but that is a different ventMercilessKiller wrote:as an extreme example its like handing someone who wants an alienware laptop, the lowest spec dell... its still a laptop...
