Nope that doesnt work for me - isnt it weird...anyway you can search for the run on mapmyrun but its some hills but gentle ones - about 2% - my leeds run is up to 7% and thats a good hill :D

Also the elevation of the 10k is about 200ft (up and downs) in total so not too bad but not flat either - bear in mind that one of the hills is at the end so save some energy for it!

Ooh not played with Mapmyrun before - lots of fun! Here is my normal first half mile out from my house - http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/united-kingdom/norton/851124585141523655

No wonder it feels steep :D

Another crucial thing to think of when drinking to excess like that is..this.

    In other news...

Been too hot here today anything today - it's clouding over now which is lovely but I'm covered in my sun blisters again and itch like mad.

Scorgeous....:rotfl: actually you read my mind. Whilst I was coming to this morning I was reading Runners world ratings on the timberhonger and was laughing to myself wondering if you had read them cos it might put you off....

It kind of depends on your definition of a hill.....I am still not sure whats a hill and whats not.....I know I sound stupid but.....

Becky - do you know how I can look at a route with the hills on it...

It is also the route that I did a week last Sunday when I wasn't feeling very well and I don't know whether I found it tough because I was ill or whether it was just tough....I am also finding I am a bit scared of doing it now cos I have had a couple of bad runs.....

Come do it anyway...would love to meet you. I promise I won't get drunk....

Will give my friend in Wolverhampton a ring tonight see if I can stay at hers, and if I can, I will do it although you will finish miles before me as I am really slow at the minute and the thought of challenging run makes me go a bit green at the gills before I've even started

Yeah there's a flat/ 'gently undulating' couple of miles after that before it goes uphill again.

I ran up this at the weekend - http://www.mapmyrun.com/route/gb/norton/269124585196751636 - nearly killed me! :rotfl:
