Scorgeous....:rotfl: actually you read my mind. Whilst I was coming to this morning I was reading Runners world ratings on the timberhonger and was laughing to myself wondering if you had read them cos it might put you off....

It kind of depends on your definition of a hill.....I am still not sure whats a hill and whats not.....I know I sound stupid but.....

Becky - do you know how I can look at a route with the hills on it...

It is also the route that I did a week last Sunday when I wasn't feeling very well and I don't know whether I found it tough because I was ill or whether it was just tough....I am also finding I am a bit scared of doing it now cos I have had a couple of bad runs.....

Come do it anyway...would love to meet you. I promise I won't get drunk....

Its not stupid actually - definitions vary widely :eek:

Brighton was sold as a fast flat course and I would say undulating (possibly even hilly - one downhill but was evil) - you can look at the route on mapmyrun if they have mapped it there and view the elevation charts but they arent wholly accurate - gives you an idea though...or you can do what I always try to do now - go out for a quick reccy of some of the course and check it out while warming up - then you can decide whether to run it on not :D

    In fact here you go:

Nope that doesnt look hilly to me but what do I know?? In fact its flatter than my usual run around Hyde Park :p

I did it a couple of weeks ago, but I wasn't feeling well so its hard to judge. To be honest, its no worse than what I run every week...its not particularly flat where I live...

Didn't someone once say you considered a speed bump a hill..:rotfl:

I can't wait to see the photos - what are you like Sammy :rotfl:

Well, it can't decide whether to be scorching hot and bright sunshine here or scorching hot but with ominous cloud cover -making it very humid and sticky.

If I map my run I can select elevation but when you send me a link it just shows me the route and there is no option for elevation.....

Dont know then - its an option under the box on mine - can you see the distance box?? Perhaps you need to be logged in (although I'm sure I've done it without doing so...)
