    Morning all,

I made a chocolate slice & bread this morning. Washing hung out and it dried. It's looking overcast again, although the dark is closing in now. This afternoon I've been busy on the computer, making phone calls but I'm sooooo pleased with myself. :D

I booked our holiday to the UK on 20th January 2010 arriving in London and leaving from Rome on 28 th February. Malaysian Airlines. I got the tickets for the pair of us return for $2600. :T :D That's 1250 pounds. I can't believe I got them at sale price. I was on the computer eating lunch & a email came in. Took most of the day to get it sorted but worth the sore eyes and headache I've got now. :D

I see that Andy bad loser bloke won his match. :p:D DGS arriving on Friday & his dad is bringing him over Sunday to spend some time with us. Think it will be for most of the 2 weeks which I'm surprised about. He said he'll get him for weekend in between. Ninny's happy though. :D

Meanmarie Hope you have a lovely day getting spoiled.
Sunnygirl Fingers crossed. Hope it all goes well.
NPMGood luck with your hospital appt.

Best go and sort out tea. Soup & leftovers. Hope you have a lovely day. Byeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Oh that is maddening lav1979 - I know what you mean - DH had his broken into similarly and they emptied the glovebox & threw contents all around the car...but took NOTHING. Lock still does not work properly. Hope your DH can get yours sorted Hun.

Happy Birthday to Marie & MissPink - hope you have wonderful days!

NPM & SG - hope the hospital visits go OK.

Aussie - well done on your travel bargain!

Tiredmum - hope the prom goes OK - we never had them in my day either (I think they are an idea 'imported' from the US).

Enjoy the tennis all you fans (don't generally watch it myself, apart from maybe the final - but each to their own!) and hope that DG can get to see some of it, somehow.

NO OS done at all yesterday! Went to look at (another...) camper van (think DH is getting obsessed) but not really what we wanted, so the search goes on! Went out for a nice meal (would have been even nicer with a glass of wine, but c'est la vie...will all be worth it in the end if we get the right result!).

Off camping for the weekend - leave tomorrow afternoon, so if I don't get back on here in between, have a lovely weekend everyone and 'see' you again on Tuesday (when I will be either deliriously happy, or crying buckets, as it will be Test Day).

    (((HUGS))) to all who need/want,

Having one of those days.

Hung washing on line, went to have a bath only to get out and find that washing was in vegetable patch. Rewashed it, hung another load out and left for work.
Got almost to the office (12 miles) to discover I had forgotten the laptop so had to go back. Left again and found I needed petrol but purse was at home so turned around again. Set off again, stopped to get petrol and while filling the car one of the spaghetti straps on my top snapped, half exposing me to the forecourt. :o So another trip home to mend it and have finally got into the office. :o:o:o

Hoping the day gets better as it's gardening club at the school later. Hardly worth coming into work really as I need to leave again at 2.

Aussie, that's great news about your trip. :jI hope you are travelling this far North. :D

Churchie I don't envy you in sweaty kitchen.:p It's 30 degrees in the office now but at least I don't have to cook.

    Enjoy the camping FE.

Hope your DD enjoys the prom Tired Mum
