I thought the issue was more about having to log in every time they wanted to use the site? i.e. they kept getting logged out even though it is set to remember them. That's where the problem with the cookies came in.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -

hmmm well i read it different but reading it again shows both could be correct
op can you expand on your issue? ie are you logged out during use or are you just tiresome of entering details when you want to log in each day?Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
Hi, back on now, the issue is that if I regularly visit this site I have to log in every time if on google chrome whereas if on ie I don't have to.0

By the way I'm on version 2.0.173.330

Me again! I've just noticed on google chrome options "under the hood" the cookie settings are set to block all cookies. Could this be the reason why? And if so which other option should I choose ie. allow all cookies or restrict how third party cookies can be used? Which option do others with google chrome use?0

Mine was set to allow all cookies, and if yours are blocked, that would explain why you have to keep logging in! Change it to allow, and then see what happens.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Just curious, but have they gotten rid of the spyware component yet and that 'googleupdater.exe' that *constantly* runs whether you kill it or not?
Thanks. It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -

Ah, there's the google chrome buster that I knew would come along! It's sure better than IE and faster than Firefox or Safari. Who cares if it keeps itself up to date or logs what you search for? If you use google in any browser, your search will be logged anyway, so that's not specific to Chrome. So why do you worry, unless you've something to hide?
And don't go calling it spyware; it isn't.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
