Ryanair/Easyjet/BA comparison charges

You also have to remember to include the cost/time/hassle of getting to and from the airport at each end.
For me, Stansted is much more convenient than Heathrow so for most short European flights, it's not worth the trek to LHR, even if BA is cheaper than Easyjet.
As for as Ryanair is concerned, I used to fly with them all of the time but the constant hassle means that I avoid them unless there is no reasonable alternative.0 -

But it isn't comparing like with like - on this one route there is no competition at all therefore the BA flight is the cheapest direct flight
Not a bad "game" to play though is it? Nearly £300p.p. saving, for my party that would be £1,500 towards the cost of Hotels, car hire etc. Whilst agreeing it is not like for like, you still get to Bari, relatively easily.0
