    morning all

hope all those who ran have recovered from the leeds runforall! You all made me feel dreadfully unfit so yesterday and today I've dragged Evie out in the pram and powerwalked a 2k circuit. Don't think I'll ever be ready for a run but I can manage walking.

I'm waiting for the health visitor to come round then Evie and I can get out and do some shopping.

Sally - didn't have your number so couldn't text you and say how lovely it was to meet you. Maz - glad you and Erin got home safely!

I'm trying not to mention TT cos I'm just so jealous!

    Hi all
Well ive got a busy day ahead of me (altho after being up since half 5 this morning ive already done loads and am shattered)
Doing the Race for life on sunday so i really should go for a run to get myself sorted for that, got a million things to put on ebay, housework to do, need to raise more sponsorship for sunday, find a way to make money to pay off our debts asap (besides ebay), find a job (being unemployed is not good when I want to be working) and find a way for me and my other half to have a holiday for nothing when he has 2 weeks off in August.......so all in all quite a bit to do!!

    Thanks all,
back from the doc's she just thinks Jess may have a bad prickly heat rash - except that it's not itchy which is unusual.
I'm just going to keep an eye on her and the nurse will ring tomorrow afternoon to see how she is.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Afternoon All!

Work has been manic this morning - am on my lunchbreak now but got loads more to get through today *sigh* :p

No worries Maz - when she gets a bit bigger in the foot department she can have my shoes too - I remembered I cant sell stuff on ebay because I dont have a landline - grrr!

Have fun at TT - not a fan myself tbh, but live concerts are cool so enjoy yourselves - I keep meaning to book into the Chopin series at my local church in October to make sure I have tickets and find something to go to for my American friends are here in August :D
