Squizz - i am in love with sports direct.com... i will never go anywhere else for sports gear ever again! Amazing stuff at cheapness prices! i did a bit of shopping in Leeds city centre one yesterday... for me and erin.

I'm not sure if we've got one of them, will have a look. Was planning to go to Decathlon as it's on my way home and they've got technical t shirts for about £6-7.

Ooh and super well done on your new personal best 10k time ;):T:T:T

I know I don't usually contribute to the threads, but I do lurk.

For the girlies going to TAKE THAT - The trams aren't running through the city centre - you will have to make your way to St Peters Square and get the Altrincham tram which runs to Old Traff. You can get a free bus from outside Picc Station, which stops very close to St Peter's Square - you need the purple number 3 bus:D

    *goes back into lurkdom*

Thanks for that NMS. How will I know where to get off purple bus? What does St Peter's Square look like?

Please dont lurk, you're very welcome to join in chat :D

  • Hi Spud

Here is a link to the metroshuttle guide -there is a map on page 3 - if you follow the purple route, the bus goes down Portland Street, then turns right onto Oxford Street - this is where Varsity is on the corner (I think thats where the MCR meet was :)) and a McDonalds on the opposite corner. If you press the stop button here, the driver will stop at the next stop, which is near to the junction with Lower Mosley Street. St Peters Sq is just across the road, it is just a Tram Station.

We just went and had a drive past the venue for tonight's TT fest so DH would know where to pick us up from.

There were people already arriving to queue ready for gates opening at 4
