That would mean me fitting it:eek: If i was going to do that, i would build it all myself and save about £200. Only problem is, i see no videos online on how to build it..0 -
What, how to fit a CPU cooler? Look here. Also, the tuniq tower is a good CPU cooler at half the price.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

" i would build it all myself and save about £200" !!!!!! they're charging £200 to assemble a PC? I've not done the pricing...I'd assumed around £50 build charge which seems fair. £200 for an hours work with something which is almost as easy to assemble as lego is taking the....
There are dozens of sites showing how to build a PC...there's even a haynes manual !!!!!!...buy that for £15 and save £185!
...or you must know a 15yr old boy who can do it for you?
...if you live near halifax I'll do it for a cup of coffee (+2 sugars)! I've never built an i7 machine...but everything from 486 to modern quads (well over 100 machines) ...so I have an idea what to doUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -

Im not sure about the costs, but if it is only about £50 saving building it myself, then no point in me buildng it. I was told buying the parts is alot cheaper, so would have thought at least £100 cheaper buying the parts and putting it together myself. Could be wrong.
Im just watching videos on youtube, seems easy to build. Im tempted to give it ago:o
On the cpu, does not say if a Tagan, just says Silverpower.0 -

PSU has very good reviews online and people seem to love Enermax, this was a little more expensive than the Silverpower 600w PSU, but the silverpower had very average reviews, so went for that one. CPU cooler had a 10/10 on one review and had loads of rewards, so seemed like a good choice. That all comes to around £1012 ish. £100 over my orig budget:eek: But i took peoples advice in not skimping on PSU & cooler fan.
Can i now finally get thumbs up from you lot....pretty please:o0 -
Looks good to me. Still think you should save yourself a few hundred and build it yourself though!0

I will drop dead of the thought of me blowing the motherboardThat is real bargain to be honest, elsewhere it would come to well over 1200. So im happy to let experts build it. Then in future add a 2nd graphics card and other bits as i watched a few videos and seems easy enough.
