he has been a sad little soldier all day, crying 'I dont like it mummy' Its hard as you cant really do anything for being sick. He had a little bit of water but minutes later its on the floor again. He has slept most of the day with his head on my lap so havent been able to get a lot done today.
Got a call from the loft insulation saying can they come this afternoon, I told them that it was unexpected and that I hadnt emptied the loft, but thought there wasnt a lot up there and its just around the hatch. I got a few bits down that I could see (i only have step ladders so couldnt get up there - not that I want to yewww) and he said they wouldnt mind getting a few bits down. they got here about 3 when I was just going to pick DD up. they got all the stuff out their lorry and when the guy got up there he said there is quite a bit of stuff up here love! I went up to have a look and there is quite a bit that I didnt even know. it is all junk that will mostly go to the tip!!! but thats going to be an afternoons work. grrrr
well on the survey front - I have had 3 sent and 1 accepted and a NV one for £3, so have £12 on there now, wish I hadnt ignored the other ones they sent now, they are good money if not sent often and are easy to do. just 10p on onepoll
I have been reading dooyoo ratings (all I could do with a poorly boy on my lap), havent got the mojo to do any reviews right now.
On looking at my budget spreadsheet it looks like I have about £20 left over this month, plus £10 from paypal (once every bill has been cleared from my account) So not as bad as I thought.
oh and a spend day today as popped into town to put my cheque in and checked in the charity shop and got some almost new gorgeous clarks sandles and DS2 a jumper - holiday clothesMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

hey pammy, sorry to hear uv had stress with the kids dads. You are doing amazingly, I can't believe how much you get from the surveys, gonna look into selling some herbs on ebay... holiday countdownMortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
Now just over 2 years we have taken on the challenge again! )(starting £237k Nov 2014) Current mortgage £232,399.82, current overpayment total £1550, years remaining= 170 -
DS2 is much better today and thankfully me and DD are ok for now too.
On checking the bank the passport fees have come out, so that confirms they have received them, hooray!
have done a countdown on my spreadsheets for days to holiday and days left for travelling to DS2s old school. There is 5 weeks and 3 days til our hols and 8 weeks left at school (which is actually only 6 weeks as one week is half term and one week on hols)
had two surveys and none accepted :mad:MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

well I am absolutely shattered but have been sorting out and cleaning all the bedrooms this afternoon. Kids werent happy that they had to tidy their rooms but I dont ask much of them usually. My room was a disgrace really, more like a junk and dump room crossed with a badly organised laundrette! I guess with no one else to see it but me I dont really bother with it and just sleep there. Today I completely blitzed it, moved everything around to clean and dust and amazingly found a pair of black sandals I had forgotton about and a top I used to love but thought I had thrown out by mistake! (it was lodged behind my ottoman!!!) I have put a few of my handbags in a black bag for charity along with some clothes and bizarrely I had kept a pair of boots that I used to wear everyday for no reason as they had a hole in them...why?? I was very ruthless with chucking things away or putting in the charity bag and now my room looks like a bedroom again
although I do need a necklace stand.
The motivation for this is that I have to clear the loft and will need somewhere to put things, so my room will be a junk room again no doubt. I need to pluck up the courage to go up there but I dont like it.
Another NSD for me taking me over my target.
only one survey completed today GTM 40pts.
deposited on tombola today and played £2 so hoping I can play the free game next week.
promised the kids we could go to the park tomorrow, so hoping the weatherman is right that it will be sunny.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

as you can see a good extra income month which had helped me do an OP, I would not have been able to do otherwise, plus the added passports to buy.
Next month I can start with the usual £100 plus another £100 but I need to get a few bits for hols.
Have started by ordering me and DD some new trainers today and a new top for her and DS2 and got them a new gym bag each and her a pair of slippers for £1, all of sports direct delivered for £32.80.
My trainers are just basic donnay onesfor £10!!. DDs were hello kitty for £8. managed to use a 10% code of course which meant that I paid just 79p for postage

I like that end of month summary Pammy. Just shows how all the little things are really adding up. Hard to see it on a daily basis but it really stands out there.
I am noticing with taking part in the 100 day vs 1 debt challenge that i have managed to put an awful lot to one side this month already. I would have said if you asked me though that it had been a poor month for it.
You are doing really brill. Like you i need to do the bedroom declutter. It isn't just us that dumps stuff in there though. we are constantly finding toys. No room is safe. I need to have yet another major declutter. :eek:0 -
Just popping in to read and say hi. I'm sure I've seen you over on Dooyoo (if you have the same name over there)
Our totals are similar, and I can't wait to get on the mortgage bandwagon, next year after the wedding it'll be hammered I hope.
Good luck with your journey,0
