well we had our lovely afternoon at cadburys world, it was quite good. Some parts the kids were bored with (the history part of it) but overall they had a great time :D

came back to quite a few surveys in my inbox, 3 from GTM - one accepted and done 35pts, 1 from lightspeed accepted - 80pts and VO which I knew I wouldnt be accepted as it was sent at 8pm and you have to do them straight away!

Am so tired now as it took me 1hr 40 mins to get there and concentrating on where to go :( but found it ok. After visiting my mum on the way home, we finally got home at 11pm. I was going to do a couple of dooyoo reviews but will try and make it up tomorrow when the kids go to their dads.

I'm glad that you enjoyed Cadbury World. We're going to take our DD at some point (she's 4)..hope she enjoys it.

You're such a motivation with your surveys - I should get signed up to some more..Only use pureprofile, onepoll, valued opinions, pinecone and yougov. I have just signed up to panelbase net as well, but I'm sure there is more I could be doing. I would love to make £1 a day from surveys but reckon it is more in the region of 30-40p on average. I should be more motivated on dooyoo but I can never think of things to review.

Well done on the bargain school uniform spends - I've just spent £78 on school named items, which they have to have..I'll still have to buy dresses, skirts, trousers and blouses as well. The £78 just covers jumpers, bags, hats etc..oh and I still need PE kit and labels to iron on..

Have a lovely weekend and remember to relax as well :)

thanks pigtails, on cadburys world there are a few rooms that they discuss the history and my 7 year old lad got bored with this, in fact a lot of the time he just wanted to go to the park!!

I still have to get named sweaters for my son and named PE tshirts but that all I m prepared to buy named, its a rip off. I am thinking of seeing if they have a second hand sale!

Do you get a few surveys from pureprofile? I am on there but keep forgetting to check it!

another GTM survey - 35pts, none on onepoll, checked pureprofile and got 10p for my trouble, dont know what the payout is on there though.

Have booked a haircut MSE style :) my boss's wife gave me a voucher for 50% off and booking with the graduate it will now only cost me £9. I have my dye at home ready for after. I like to have my hair cut a few weeks before hols so it settles down. I never normally like my hair when it is first done.

I really need to blitz my lounge today but cant be bothered.

Have been researching more focus groups and market research companies and have joined another one today. I may not get anything out of it, but worth trying I guess :)

I think my little girl will love the park at cadbury world as well..my OH's parents went recently, with their 2 young children (7 and 9) and they loved the park..

Payout on pureprofile is £25, which goes into your bank. I try and remember to log on once a day, before I do onepoll. I have had about £50 from pure profile in about 6 months..sometimes I've been lucky and had a few surveys for £2.50 or so, so they quickly add up. Yesterday I had one for 50p which didn't take very long. I find I don't get screened out as often as I do for VO. Also if I do, I'm screened out a lot quicker, and I still get 5p for my troubles..I think I mentioned before I never seem to get e-mail invites to surveys but when I log on they are there...that said PP has dried up a bit the last few weeks.

Good luck with the focus groups - I look forward to seeing how you get on..I think it would be difficult for me. I work full time and live about 15 miles away from a big castle in the centre of the country (am sure you can guess which castle I mean)..I guess a lot are based in London, which would be so difficult for me to get to..

Well done with arranging your mse hair cut. I've just had mine done today - I've gone home to my mum's and left OH with DD. I really should be doing some CPD work and updating it online. I got my hair cut up here, as it's so much cheaper...only £11 for a dry cut, which my mum still thinks is expensive, but I'm happy with it

    Enjoy the sunny weather..

I like CW -as do my 3 bigger ones (4, 10,12) (DS3 at 1 is too small!!) The biggest 2 have been often enough that they know some of the history really well, though. I might go in the summer hols with them - using Tesco clubcard vouchers, of course ;)

Pureprofile - not heard of that before - just had a quick look and I'll sign up :D Pammy - do you get anything for a referral? If you do, PM me for whatever details you need of mine and you can refer me :)

with CW I think it would be better if they had the purple planet room seperate so you can go in and out of that when you want. my kids would have spent more time in there.

I think our next outing on tesco CCs will be to plantasia and maze world next which is about 20 mins from my mums but probably in the summer hols.

Have done 3 dooyoo reviews today. Have worked out that I need to do 35 more to get my next cheque. this means more than 2 a day up to the 20th to get paid before the end of the month.(takes 10 days to get the cheque) I dont think I can keep that up as it is so time consuming!

Glad you had a nice day out and hope you have enjoyed your day on your own today. I'm really starting to cram now my exams are next week so busy time for me, on the plus side being good with money for a change:p

I have joined one poll due to the i-phone app I saw advertised on MSE email this week, already up to £3.45. Thanks for motivating me to do it, I saw how much you made from surveys so thought I should get me bum in gear!!
