Thanks its not that hard really.

Got the kids a couple of games off amazon today for xmas and ordered DD an indoor freeview aerial in the hope that it works. (a company quoted me £65+ to put one on the roof for her room!!) I then went on VO and to my surprise had £10 already on there so redeemed that on amazon too. Now have £16 on there (plus £5 coming from BP) so hopefully can build it back up again :)

Am trying to pysch myself up for doing a load of ironing and getting the kids uniforms sorted so there is no rush tomorrow, I HATE ironing!
We were going to have a daytrip tomorrow for the last day off with some tesco vouchers but the weather seems to have put a stop to that. I have promised them we will do it on a weekend instead.

Next Monday is my last Homestart volunteer session and then I will be on their books for being matched to a family to help. It is exciting and nervewrecking all at the same time. :)

Oh on looking at houses again today I found a house that we were looking at that has been reduced by 10k. The photos on the new agents is awful compared to the first lot as the house hasnt been lived in and the weeds have all come up in the garden and the rooms are all empty and look bad. Its amazing what furniture does to make the house look better.
I also looked at another house that had a large garden and conservatory and is on for £129k. I have thought about having a look as its a few streets away from my sister but something bugs me. The house was bought only in Feb this year for £124k and I wonder why it was put back up for sale in June again. I know it can be something simple and honest but it shows warning signs to me. I think maybe the neighbours are awful or there is something really badly wrong with the house.

Pammy - how DO you do it? Your standard monthly payment is the same as mine yet you make amazing OP's aswell. We have 2 wages coming in (ok they're not brilliant) but you do it by yourself!!

I am trying to build up my Amazon account too but have no idea what presents to buy!

FWIW, I am on a Halifax tracker and think I can OP by 10% a year. Have you spotted any good fixed rates with them?

Not yet, when I applied for the mortgage for new house they offered me 4.18% as I was a halifax bank customer. I havent looked again since.

My OPs this month are from the extra payment of TCs (two this month) and ebay is doing really well.

As for amazon I just keep checking grabbit and HUKD for stuff on offer.

Pammy, I think you may be a rightmove addict like myself, I think we should both stop torturing ourselves looking at houses.:rotfl:

Your payments this year put all of us to shame, you have op'd massive amounts, it really is very uplifting to see what can be achieved with lots of effort, well done pammy.:T

Pammy's house and Pammy's OP show what can be achieved. I am longing for the day I can redo my house in £1000 chunks instead of months-to-end of term ... but I am gonna get there!

Hi yes good thanks, went to come on the other nght but they were doing site maintenance.

I have finally got 80k on toluna and redeemed £15 on amazon, also another £3 on paypal for MyS.

Nearly had heart attack last night, went bingo with 2 sis and mum and sis wanted 1 number to win 10k! Unfortunately didnt happen :( Never mind better luck next time, other sis won 1 line twice and we all got a share of a whopping £15 lol

I might be able to OP £100 in the next few days and that takes another month off my term and down to Feb 2020. I received my letter from Halifax and my term is now officially 8 years 6 months. I was going to reduce it to 8 years but am keeping it the same for now.
