Pammy, if your house is worth a bit less then you own more so not all bad ;)

I love the house, how did you design that? You almost own your ground floor!

I have been checking grabbit too, mostly as I need to get organised and do a lot of shopping before baby arrives. I always end up spending money when I go one there but it does save me money in the long run!

Ooh, I'm beginning to think I'm going to need to do one of those soon. Pammy, you've really set a trend. :)

Sadly, no. If the house is worth a bit less, it doesn't take the mortgage down with it. The mortgage stays the same, but you own less of the house. :(

I think you should really paint the front as you pay off the mortgage! I will come past to check.

I have a question about the 10% OPs you are allowed to do. What figure do they go by? Is it the figure at the beginning of the year or the beginning of your mortgage starting year (ie mine started in Feb) or does it change as the balance goes down, (not sure how that would be worked out)
My balance is now £61600 but at the beginning of the year it was just under £70k. Would I be able to OP up to 7k?
Cant believe I am asking that amount. Never in a million years did I think I would be able to OP that amount of money!
