Well £2k of this years is PPI so in reality I have only OPd my own hard earned money of £1150 so doesnt look that great lol

Had a good day today, went to town and bought kids some shoes and sandles and had enough in L2S vouchers so didnt have to pay anything. Then kids wanted to go swimming so we went and I 'accidently' didnt pay for DD when I should have so only paid for me. DS gets it free with his lessons.
Cleaned the car today as well although half heartedly lol but looks better than it did.

Am so shattered now, think I only did about 10 lengths of swimming (not all in one go) today but I need to learn to swim better to swim longer. I still have swimming one to one vouchers that I got for xmas that I havent been able to use yet.

Still need to do my ironing which as always is left to the last day! :( Am forcing my tomboy daughter to wear a summer dress - bad mummy!

Spoke to ex today and he says he will accept £3k as pay off for the house if I move. I have been stupid though as I have been working it out on how much mortgage balance is left to my equity but of course thats not going to be the final figure from the Halifax is it. I dont know how much they add on for redemption. I need to ring and ask really.
I have seen another house that I like that has a conservatory and a room the kids can use as a playroom but its obviously in my price range because its on a main road and near an industrial estate as well as a bus stop almost outside (sounds great eh ;)) I might go and have a look when I am next over there to see how bad the road is. The thing is the price has been dropped £15k already since Jan this year so they seem desperate to sell which rings alarm bells. or am I being synical.

Do Halifax do rolling mortgages? (if thats the right name where the mortgage goes with you to new house)

I think a lot of houses are dropping in price though Pammy. My friend has knocked £10k off hers, with no faults just because they haven't had a single viewer in about 8 months. Another on our street dropped £15k because he and his wife have split up so they need to sell. Doesn't mean all is bad. Have a look and see by all means.

Yes I think I will. There is something strange tho, the house is on zoopla and rightmove and both sets of pics are completely different furniture. I dont know whether they have possibly rented it out or whether they have done the house doctor thing and put nice furniture in and set it up nice haha. saying that there are completely different cars in the front of both.
If they need a quick sale they might accept less but then I would have to sell mine quickly.

haha I was wondering when someone would notice that. I am one of those people that can never decide. I still look at the houses over there and if I see a house I like I might have a gander anyway just in case it might be the one. I will more than likely stay but I am keeping my options open :o

My poorly new car got smashed into this morning. She just didnt see me when she pulled away from the side of the road. I have only had it a few weeks :(

Has been picked up by garage and just waiting for enterprise to collect me for my hire car. :(

But at least we are all ok and no one is hurt but both kids were sitting on that side of the car.
How typical, I have bangers all my driving life and the minute I get a decent car this happens. she has claimed responsibility, she just did not see my bright green shrek!

goodness knows how long I will have a hire car for :(
