Its about 50 miles away, about an hours drive so not hugely far.

I see from your sig that you are about the same MF months away as me (if I dont move!), good luck with that. Do you have a diary?

I wouldn't stress about having a little break Pammy. Your tooth has been affecting your sleep, your energy and your moods for months now, and when it is better you will feel better and take on what you want to again.

I thought you would probably be doing the Tesco stuff. Good on you. See, you are doing something after all.
  • Hope you feel better soon and the op goes well , sure once you are pain free your head will be cleared up to make whatever is the right decision for you re: moving too..

Hi pammy :) thanks for popping your head in, sorry the tooth is still a nightmare.

Sounds like you are in a bit of a dilema with the house move. Sorry if this is a bit obvious but have you thought about moving in a few years when the kids start secondary school, its one less move for them and you would have a little extra time to save or op the mortgage even more to help with the move.

I really did think that BUT my DD is a year above DS so he would still have to move for the last year. My thinking then was that they both move school together to the same school now so they can comfort each other if worried etc and then they can get to know kids before they go to big school.

Its so hard. A friend of mine has just moved her youngest to a different primary for the last year in a different area, and he has settled in and made new friends that will also be moving up to big school at the same time. I think its probably easier to move them in primary than secondary school if you have the choice.

Best of luck with whatever you decide.

Well spent the day there yesterday and had a couple of viewings. Both houses were empty as had elderly people living there previously. One was a definite no no, the second was ok but would need a lot of cosmetic work. I sit here in my front room and see how light it is and how much everything here is in walking distance and convenient. where they live its like a small village and mostly streets and streets with a few shops. I dont know if I could get used to that. the junior school is 20 mins walk and the senior school is 10 mins but then they would have to move again at 14 as its only 11-14 year old which puts me off as that would be a bus ride away.
The kitchen was lovely and new but a bit dark for me, it had all the whites intergrated. Two of the bedroom had 'old lady style' built in wardrobes. The bathroom was seperate from the wc so that would have to be put together and the wc was at the corner of the house which had a big crack through it which looked like it had tried to be sorted on the outside but had occured again.

I just look around my house and think I do like the size of it. My bedroom and DSs bedroom are quite big. The senior school which they would go to in 2 years is just round the corner. I have a decent job that works around the hours I need and the biggy I could be MF in poss 8 or 9 years if I carry on how I am. The kids will soon be old enough be independant in a few years so one of the reasons to move for help has been left a bit late really.

The kids dad went ballistic as expected, he said he was going to go fo custody etc, and that I had to pay his parents back the money they gave us in the beginning for things like flooring and kitchen. Then as the mortgage was in my name from the start I had signed a letter to state that if I sold he would get half the profit because he had to have something to back him up for paying the mortgage in my name! Even though he has not paid any of the mortgage in the last 6 years and I have OP'd £12k over the past 2.5 years. I don't know where I stand with that.
He also left £50k of loans which I had to remortgage to pay. They were in both our names when we were stupid and used CCs and didnt pay them off, then get a loan to pay it and start all over again, other loans for doing the house up etc and even stupidly loans for going on holiday. When I look back on it I cringe SO MUCH! I could possibly be MF now if we hadnt done that!

Anyway I think I knew deep down that I would stay but I had to go through the motions in case something really spurred me too.
I know that it would be a case of driving back here for the kids to see their dad every fortnight and I dont think I could cope with that

It wouldnt be fair to take the kids away from their dad although they are not having a good time with evil stepmum at the moment. It breaks my heart. I dont know what to do about it.

OH Big news hospital have a cancellation so I am now booked in for Tuesday :j :j :j Had to move kids holiday club around, move my days off around and reschedule kids going to grandparents, and reschedule with Caroline for getting a lift home and rearrange friend to come and sit with me in the evening hahahah but apart from that its all sorted :rotfl: So hopefully I will be all guns blazing this time next week! :D

    Sorry for the essay :)

I think, only think though that if you have bank records to prove that you've paid and he hasn't you have a case so that he wouldn't get 50% but it would be hassle and of course lots of solicitor fees!

Don't stress yoursef out over making a decision hun, take your time

I think the decision has been made, I am going to stay here. It was a nice idea.

I have been back in my survey head, did a couple of VO this evening and one is a free sample of shampoo and conditioner heading my way :D nice How long has VO and onepoll been changed haha
I have missed out on so many surveys this past few weeks :( Been on BP tonight as well, havent been on there for a couple of months either. I won 2600 pts tonight :j nice to be back :)

Also sold my old car stereo to guy at work for £30 :)

Have still been doing well on ebay, and doing tesco dtd, my washing liquid, shampoos and crisps and yogurts have been stocking up :)

We had 3 engineer redundancies at work this week. I know my job is safe as the bosses wife is hardly there these days and think she really wants to retire, dont think it will be long before boss retires and hands full reigns to his son.

Hopefully will be fully on track again soon :)
