I also am highly sceptical about the motives of the ownership of the car in the first place.
EXCUSE ME? Clearly you have done no research on Insurance out there and the fact you are making such big assumptions is appauling. I have come on this forum for help, not pathetic comments like this.
FYI - The insurance policy I have allows other family members to use the car even though I am the registered owner. Infact the insurance policy itself has been taken out on my mother's name and the rest are names drivers. The Inurancr Company are aware of all arrangements.
So please if you have nothing contructive to say then dont say anything at all.0 -

If she is willing to let her family use the car as they see fit surely a relationship exists that she can ask this and ask for repayment.
HAVE YOU BOTHERED TO READ MY ORIGINAL POST???? The issue is that because of the incorrect spelling noone was aware that these fines have been building up.0 -
ALL,
For those of you with some contructive advice - THANK YOU.
I find it hillarious how people can jump to silly assumptions. My Insurance company knows all my details for all my vehicles including this one. The reg address in Glasgow but I travel all over UK with with committments. Im spending time in London but it is not my residing address hence I havent changed my address anywhere and instead get mail forwarding.
NOT using this forum again, Im appauled at some members.
Again, thank you to those who use this forum for what its intended.

Congratulations lineasetc, if your aim was to frighten off a new poster you have succeeded.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Par for the course with Linas I'm afraid.
To the OP:-
Assuming you wern't driving and you have no luck on pepipoo how are you going to divi this bill up. I imagine everyone in the family will be claiming it wasn't them driving. You are going to have your work cut out one way or the other.0 -
Glad the OP has gone to Pepipoo, at least there the trolls are not tolerated and the helpful people are able to be just that, helpful. The one thing which spoils MSE is the trolls as they change a useful site into an arena for a slanging match.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Gosh, not sure if this helps but maybe Barry Segal at appealsnow.com might be a good place to help. No affiliation with him, but he did help me.
Have you considered filing a statutory out of time notice as you didn't get original forms. PE2/PE3 . You download forms and send to court at least that would get you back to the original fine if the court accepted it especially as name is wrong.
Isn't there some law about how much bailiffs can charge now pre visit or letter, Good luckFlying Donkeys- Do no harm to others and you will benefit in more ways than one.0 -
Are you sure these rules apply to Scotland? They have an entirely different set of parking rules to England.Gosh, not sure if this helps but maybe Barry Segal at appealsnow.com might be a good place to help. No affiliation with him, but he did help me.
