I also am highly sceptical about the motives of the ownership of the car in the first place.
A bit harsh mate.
Family have given me a car before to pretty much use on a permanent basis. Their insurance & their car.Not Again0 -

And at the very least then it will have likely been fronting as they no doubt had it insured them as the main drivers.
Also were you the only person using it?
I still think the OP and their family at the very best have misused the shared usage to avoid criminal and civil penalties relating to the vehicle0 -
To get back to the OP, has anyone good advice which helps them with their problem, its nothing to do with insurance, thats immaterial to the parking tickets.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Never use my car at all. My wife never drives hers.
I insure my wife's car for me as the main driver, she insures my car for her as the main driver. Registered owners are declared to both insurance companies, they have no problems with it. Not any case of fraud at all. But we would get each others tickets.0 -
Has the OP actually asked who was driving and asked them to pay?
If she is willing to let her family use the car as they see fit surely a relationship exists that she can ask this and ask for repayment.0 -

Again do you have the keys sitting so your entirely family can use it?
If not then its not even comparable to the OP who doesnt seem to know who is driving her car or when.
Rather convenient that when it gives rise to avoiding all the tickets etc0 -

I dont think its really that convenient bearing in mind if she cant say who was driving at the time she admits another offence & also has to cough up unless she gets off on a technicality..
Then there is the additional offence of not informing the DVLA if the details on the log book where wrong...
Ooooo & the change of address she never made to the insurance company & the DVLA...Not Again0 -
Where is the relevance in any of this?
OP, pepipoo is your friend.0 -

Indeed.
The only decent MSE organiser here seems to be Crabman. The site owners clearly don't give a monkey's about these pointless and detracting interruptions.
Quite how some people think their posts are in any way constructive is beyond me. The proof of the pudding is that, on here, many OPs never return after first post.
Apart from existing cases where I have tried to help I shall not be posting again and I strongly recommend any new members find a useful forum such as that suggested. (I have no affiliation)0 -
