Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker
have to say I've been churning out press releases for years Sally - that's the aspect of PR I don't want to work in any more because I grew tired of journalists and everything that comes with it. In big organisations there is the annual treadmill of all the initiatives you try to get publicity for but it gets harder and harder with press space getting smaller and smaller (and everyone assuming what they are doing is newsworthy and it will automatically get printed when it probably won't), then all the smaller stuff like fundraising. You then have the other side of it with the reactive stuff when they are on the phone wanting comments asap on stuff which is going to be bad news and you spend ages trying to get someone to do the interview. I just ended up hating doing that part of PR/media work.

But thankyou - I haven't written a press release for a couple of years now and whilst it was a bit rushed and needed a bit of sharpening up it was good to see I could just do them straight off the top of my head still :D

I've had my cheque from music magpie for £28 - exactly as expected :D I only sent the CDs off last Monday. Thankyou bookie - it was a post of yours I first saw with it in. :T

Off to see Charlie, back in a bit for an early lunch before my teacher training class at 12.30.

Snags your date sounds lovely actually, when I met OH most of our dates were at home with cheap plonk! :D Very MSE too ;)

Manager has arrived and then immediately vanished, oh here she comes

Yes, he seems lovely. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but he's definitely someone I'd really like to get to know better.

Hope your meeting isn't as formal and scary as it sounds - when is it?

Yes...I was slightly worried about the massage thing but while we were chatting last night, he reassured me very subtly that he does just mean 'massage'.

Ryan is no problem, I can persuade him to take his melatonin a bit earlier than usual :o but will need to make sure Natasha only has one nap today, so she's tired out by 7pm!

Eeeek, I don't know what to wear!!!!

Something that can easily be put back in place in a split second in case one of the kids come downstairs :o

Ya what? Where's the jealous smilie? I struggle to get Elliot to have one nap :(

Can we help with the outfit? I am sure there's a FB pic of you in something that would be perfect ;)

:rotfl: Nooooooo!!! (That's more of a 3rd date outfit, surely? :D) :rotfl:

Natasha has always needed a lot of sleep (remember after she was born, when I was having to force her to wake up for feeds?), but if it's any consolation, she is usually awake any time from 4am onwards, prodding my eyelids to see if she can get me to open my eyes. Little monkey!

Snags apparently I was like that as a child as well, my mum had to wake me up for feeds.

I'm still like it now, I could sleep for britain:o

I haven't really got any skirts that fit me properly other than work ones. I have a couple of dresses that are nice, but would be too over-the-top for a casual coffee date so I think it will have to be jeans and a nice top, unless I sneak to the shops after lunch. :D

Ok, how about a chastity belt and a loose top that is easily accessible to men's hands
