No numbers on them. Perhaps they just don't like to advertise the bank. Another paper will publish it but don't have photographers on Mondays! I will send them one and the guy who is coming will just take the brownies

    morning all.

Tenmah - well done to your daughter!

Bookie - (putting on media training hat :D ) newspapers detest those large cheque photos because they are bombarded with them every day. Everyone thinks using the big cheque brings attention to what has been achieved and is a bit quirky but the press really dislike them. The thing to do is to set up a photo which is a bit different you can send a press release with. For example - if the gang yesterday had done a collective charity collection, I would get them in their running gear beforehand and take a photo of them pretending they were just about to start running, or if they were off on a long bike ride, have them all dressed up in bike gear with rucksack on back etc.

Getting a photo in the paper is more and more difficult now because many people have access to digital cameras and press photographers are becoming fewer and fewer. A good photo taken by yourself or someone who can come along with you which is then emailed iwth a press release about the presentation will be more likely than a photo of a group with a cheque or a line of business men shaking hands .

If you tell me what the presentatio is about, I can give you some ideas for the photo. It might mean you quickly arranging something but it will be more likely to be published.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Linda, this is a really strange question but are you related to Chris and Craig? It's just you've got a fairly unusual surname and you're from the same city.

    Well done on your time!

Tenmah well done to your daughter.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
