Hey there
Its been a strange day with the weather here. feels really stormy so here is hoping it clears the air.
Not much os today did make some lovely parmesan chicken dippers for the boys and they woolfed them down. I had a chicken pasanda (was out of a jar though!). Could do with something sweet to eat now.
Tomorrow will be another one of those days as we have the delights of a team meeting. Roll on next week when I change my hours.
Been having to start on Amatryptaline for my sinus pain and all it does is proceed to knock me out.
Am off to raid the fridge for some sweet munchies although am sure it will just be the biscuit tin.Although I get lonely  as a single mother there are always two smiling angels ready to give me the biggest hug in the world. Love you babies :grouphug:
Fear is a disease....Hope is it's only cure!0 -
PP - we just have Salami on a platter with cheeses, olives and baguette or ciabatti (sp). Hope the new medication makes a difference.
Am really exhausted though I dont know why.
Ended up doing some time in the office then had to go into little town as DD needed a scientific calculator for tomorrow. Ran other errands whilst there including getting a large white tshirt for DS to dress as an ancient greek on thursday.
OH couldnt take DS kickboxing so I have done that too and didnt do any ironingwill still be there tomorrow though:D

Hello, sorry to butt in, was having a lurk and decided to post!
FairyElephant - I really sypmathise, I have similar feelings though the situation isn't on the same scall. OH's DDs are 12 and 14 and have forgotten a Father's Day card for the second year running. They do remember his birthday and in fact last year asked me to take them shopping so they could get a present, and his DD2 wanted to make sure they spent enough cos they'd forgotten father's day so I thought they'd remember this year! And she got her mum a huuuge card for mother's day (don't get me wrong i wouldn't dream of saying she shouldn't have done that!). The thing is that whilst it annoys me I don't think OH minds, and they do obviously love him so I really shouldn't get bothered by it. Like I said it's a different scale to your situation.
Pen-pin - I know you said other than pizza but have you tried a ciabatta pizza? I love them and they're very simple - cut in half then in half lengthways, add some strained tinned toms then toppings of your choice. Also I'd use salami in a tomato pasta sauce, maybe with some ham or bacon if I had in plus whatever veges you like. Or I can have a habit of just eating a couple of slices if I'm hungry when it isn't meal time, but you might think that a bit weird!!

Hi everyone,
I normally enjoy just reading what everyone is up to but I got a yogurt maker off freecycle today and I needed to share with some people who will understand why this is so exciting!! My husband thinks I'm very sad for getting so excited about it.. hopefully when he starts getting yummy home made yogurt he will appreciate it. I'm about to go and make my first batch so wish me luck. Any tips also greatly appreciated - I've already read the Easiyo thread so hopefully it will turn out OK :-)0 -
