Dont know if anyone has mentioned this but if you withdraw cash with your Nationwide card abroad although you dont pay a fee the cash does accrue interest.
Not sure what you're getting at here... if you use a debit card you won't pay interest unless you're overdrawn. If you use a credit card you'll pay a cash advance fee AND interest.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -

Probably because i have a Nationwide CC just for use abroad, and no, i dont pay a cash advance fee, just the accrued interest.

I do realise that a math calculation gives me the rate but just wanted to see it on my statement....thanks
Mine still shows me the foreign currency amount, the exchange rate and the Sterling amount (or it does for Euro transactions, at least).
Which currency was it? Are you sure that Dynamic Currency Conversion was not used?
Currency used was Thai Baht.... definitely don't get the foreign currency amount, the exchange rate only get the Sterling amountsomething missing0 -

Maybe changed since the 0.84% charge was introduced as they said this would be built into sterling figure you see on your statement (ie not a separate line). If they put an exchange rate in it would not add up and lead to confusion. I haven't been outside Europe since it was introduced so just my guess really.0
