Jo.. I did that a while back.. it all went really quickly!! I had 14 bottles of hair gel that noone used... Don't ask!!

I have now just realised I have run out of rinse aid for the DW .. typical!

I have to keep coming back to pick somethign off my list to do because I can't just do something.. I am fairly useless today!

binned all the rubbish from the kitchen and cleared the worksurfaces and loaded the DW I am just waiting for the WM to finish so I canhang out the laundry.. all the dry stuff is folded waiting to be put away.

I think I may go rifle through DS3's wardrobe adn see what can be charity shopped then I'll make a cuppa and come list todays 5 items on ebay.. :D I have 1 item with a bid at the moment.. out of 10 items listed.. :D *FLING*

  • Think I might have to 'man up' and go on the techie board - they scare me though and are very rude to each other from what I've read. I can be a numpty with computers (it's my age!) and want to know how to get rid of cookies as I'm sure your supposed to on a regular basis. Do de-frag/disck clean up etc but haven't/can't/don't know how/don't know if I should. Wish me luck!! I may be crying by the time I come off the board. In fact I need a coffee and nicotine before I dare go on there! LOL

Carlsberggal - if you go to your control panel (from the start button) and click on network and internet, then in internet options you will see delete browser history and cookies and follow the instructions from there (this is using vista, so yours might be different) Most things like this can be done from your control panel. You used to be able to do it from tools when you were in your browser, but it only came up as delete browser history when I just checked, but might be worth a look on yours.

A note for everyone with toiletry and make up problems

Believe me when I say I have/had a massive problem in this area and the 100 day challenge (DFW Board) has helped me more than I could have hoped. I need the constant vigilence as I am not strong enough to cope without it at the moment.

My advice is chuck out what is opened and what you know you will never use.

If you have things sealed and you know you won't use it then try ebay. I have sold loads of my stuff on there including opened and used make up, so long as you state it as so and try a 99p start then see how it goes. A few £'s incuding P+P and someone else is happy with a bargain and you are happy because the declutter is continuing.

I've done this challenge from 1 Dec 08 and it is only now I have the courage to list my moisturisers :o I am no longer adding to this collection and I am working my way through the stash and after 6mths of hard work I can see some progress, drawers emptying and shelves clearing :j

Flying wise WM one load on the line, lunch now and garden this afternoon, may have time for a little flying later, will see :D

hey fedup - thanks for that - but to be honest, I havent had to wait six months for the impact.....I noticed a big difference after the first 100 days!! I started using all the old bottles for shower gel and body creams etc - and bacteria ridden or not, they have all done the same job and Ive managed not to kill myself in the process!!:rotfl: I will clear them out though - Im sure if I open some of them up I will discover new life forms. :o
