It's amazing isn't it... we're lucky to have toots to make up for any inadequacies the rest of us have remembering what people are up to. She makes everyone feel important, which is an amazing talent, and a very special thing to do. So she needs to behave and conserve her energy, so she doesn't go back to hospital where we can't talk to her!

re Facebook.. (i consider myself a FB guru) if you click on "settings" next to you name in the blue toolbar on the top right of you FB page you can change your privacy settings. Change search to "only friends" you may have to add us rather than us adding YOU though. Also at the bottom you will see "
Public Search Listing
Use this setting to control whether your search result is available outside Facebook.
Create a public search listing for me and submit it for search engine indexing (see preview) "

make sure you DO NOT tick this box.

And change ALL "profile" setting to "only friends". That should cover you.

and you are right TOOTS IS amazing. PIGPEN too for her lists and chivving us all along!

You all have a nice busy day tomorrow.. and the weekend list will be up nice and early for you all and as the forum will be readable you will not have any choice but to get it done.. I want to see lots and lots of pretty stars this week you have all been pretty rubbish at achieving them the last few weeks.. if I can get a star ANYONE can!!

I am hoping to manage to scrounge wallpaper from my mother tomorrow and maybe get a start on papering DD2's room.. and I need to purchase her a bed next week when I get some cash in.

Morning all. I have been out of things for a couple of weeks so I feel a bit lost with what’s up with everyone as I cannot catch up. So big ((((hugs)))) to all who needs it and welcome to all those new to the thread.

I have been busy with marking and reports trying to meet deadlines. We have also had OFSTED back last week for a monitoring visit so I have been in overdrive with marking and getting everything just right. They come back next academic year for a full inspection. Things should be easier for me by then but it is still stressful just thinking about it. I still have 3 and a half weeks until hols so I just need to survive until then and it will be the end of possibly the hardest year of my life or at least top 5.

It was DDs 1st Birthday yesterday and as it was a lovely day we went out to a local park to take some pics. Yep things are that bad, the house has reverted to landfill status with all that’s been consuming my time recently. We didn’t want all the pics spoilt with junk. The kitchen is almost under control again and it will be by tomorrow then we’ll work on the LR and DR. Well wishers will be popping in on the week end so it all needs to be presentable.

I have left one set of reports and yr 9 sats 1 class x2 papers. So soon I can get back to sorting the house as priority.

Oh no sorry to hear that MJ has died.

Morning all - bleurgh! it is not a 'Good Morning' - I have been up since 3.30 with an upset tum and really bad case of ... let you fill in the gap! TMI at this time of the day I am sure :rotfl:
Have been snoozing and trying to keep my mind of how I feel. I may not get back on here until later so dont worry if your stars are late -the joiners are coming at 8.30 to plasterboard the LR ceiling so the PC will be shut down.

Mrs Beatson thanks honey- I have a second window open and do my post as I go along - no great secret - some do it on wordpad or a document then copy and paste. And I still miss people too! And stay of the wine - you are a bad influence on toochoosey!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm very pleased, cos I was starting to panic a bit. Just emailed in another 2 applications in case.

Only downside is that even though they are doing the interviews etc over 2 days, I'm the only one on July 1st, which is my Birthday! Will have to teach a 30 minute lesson on an artist who paints butterflies or wildlife, to a Year 5 class, and it needs to be an active lesson (ie they need to do some painting etc). Will have to start writing a lesson plan tomorrow evening after some research.

irie nice to see you honey - WOW DD's 1st birthday - what a big day for you all - glad you got out and have some lovely pics to look back on - I despair of you and your marking etc - I really do hopw next school year is better for you - you must be running on empty!. Hope you get the place sorted for your weekend visitors - give them a cloth when they arrive and point them where needed(((hugs)))

Must go and find my list from earlier in the week and see whats still to do.
