    Well I aint polite
    S'not fair greenbee
    bummer bummer bummer

Thanks Crafty :D The crazy thing is that I don't actually want to work for them anyway, given how they've treated everyone, so I just need to get my head round the fact that they're the ones with the problem not me - and I'm getting a lot of support from those of my colleagues who do understand what I do. My team are very sweet, and are all worrying about me (a bit weird, I mean, I'm their boss, they're not supposed to care what happens to me!).

The interview today went OK. Hopefully I didn't get the job . I have another one tomorrow with the head of the department, which will really wind me up as he never looks straight at you. I don't really want this job either, but I'd like to make sure they understand that I'm good at what I do and that they'll be missing out when I move on to bigger and better things!

Version one of my CV is done, and posted on a supply chain website. I need to do a 'green' version too, as there may be something in other parts of the business that I could do. I've decided that what I really need is a secondment to elsewhere in the business for a bit, as they'd have to let me move immediately, so there would be no need to do the handover, and then while getting experience in the new area, I could look for a permanent job.

I haven't managed to achieve much in the way of steps today, despite meetings in other buildings. This week has been a bit of a disaster from a food/exercise point of view, but hopefully I'll improve. Somehow I don't think I'll have managed to shift a stone by my brother's wedding in a fortnight though! Still, I should have plenty of time for the gym etc now I don't have to spend so much time at work.

I now have to decide what to do with my two weeks leave (after I recover from the walk on Saturday ). If I can face family, I thought I might meet my mum in London on Monday, go to the exhibition that her pictures are in, wait for her to go to the dentist, bring her back here and drive to Devon. She can then have a few days down there, and go back with my dad on the 2nd and if I survive that long, I can have a few more days there on my own, and come back after the weekend. I have a governors' meeting on the wednesday, a conference on the Thursday (I know I'm on leave, but it will be good networking, it's green stuff so I'm interested, and they're doing a showing of The Age of Stupid in the afternoon). I'll have to start the cake on the Wednesday too, as I need to take it over to the reception venue on the Friday...

Thanks for all the support. It was good knowing that you were all thinking of me.

    Carlsberg... Happy Birthday

Tooch - the nappy cake is great. I'm sure your friend will be impressed with the thought and effort you have put into it as well as the content

    Toots - SLOW DOWN!!!

I thought of lots of other things to say but forgot them :o so hugs all round...

    Back to business...
carol22 good for you doing the decluttering to suit your place - sorry you have a cold - glad you had a nice time in Dublin
boddy thats sounds lovely - hope she enjoys her day.
SGT that list is shrinking nicely well done xx
thriftyscotslass - WOW thats a lot of work along with decorating :T:T
thifty if you did your oven last week then it will only need a wipe over to be clean again wont it? If you dont keep on top of it it only makes it worse in the long run and that goes for anything else - a quick run over with a cloth or a duster or whatever and its done and you are finished - the more often you do things the easier they become and take you no time at all - I am sure you will easily get your stars with out any real effort. xx
AnW's Mum - I dont have that will power - can you spare any??:rotfl:have you got the phone sorted out? and WTG Miss A for finding the passes! I wonder what other surprises the R of D holds for you?:rotfl:
soappie - hope plan B is taking on more shape now!
SSL sorry to hear BF didnt get job - yes the 'right' one will come along when its meant. Great to be able to have time with the Oz visitors.
Blimus - well done on doing your toiletries challenge - its amazing what we have lurking! I know someone else who could do that - dont I Jo! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
polly you have still doen a lot - good to hear that pooch's ear is ok.
carlsberggal - sounds like a really lovely day - well deserved!!! And you are so not a whinging old thingimy!!! You are a bright bubby lovely lady who is my friend. xx
hex hope you have me-time tomorrow - it sounds like you need it - huge (((hugs)))
MOAM - Arghhhhhhhh bees - do you have to sleep in that bedroom?
phizzimum hope your lappy is feeling better - well done for trying to keep going with out the lists.
egon - how nice to see you again - and congratulations on the new job - you will be just fine - its only natural to be nervous. (((hugs)))
pooh - you should really consider the bereavement counselling - why dont you ask how to get reffered to it and speak to the councellor about your fears that it will make you worse and see what they say and then you can take it from there - It will bring out loads of things but the councellors really do help to put it all in perspective and settle the dust with old ghosts too.
Choccybix oooooooh your name keeps reminding me that there is a tin of choccy bix in the cupboard for visitors (Nice old friend brought them) and I am trying very hard to resist (I am diabetic but not being good all the time!!) Just wanted to say you have done really well so far - dont over do it and have a burn out there is loads of time to get it all under control.
SS supergirl Huge (((hugs))) babes - hope you dont have too many of them at work - but at least you have an idea what it can be like now.
soappie honey - calm and restful restorative sleep for you - see you in the morning xx
pigpen - thats what we are all needing - your gentle and persuasive voice of authority!!:rotfl:
greenbee - we are all here worrying about you too - its so unsettling for you and soooooooooooo unfair! A secondment would be brilliant - are there any going ? Good luck that the interview goes the way you want it tomorrow. I am sure you will make the most of your time off whatever you do and forget about the weight loss - its too stressful for you just now.
get early night tonight - you need to be rested for saturday. (((hugs)))

I had a good day - toxic came after lunch and she worked well i have to say - I did as I was told most of the time - sat and directed her:rotfl: she roasted an oven full of veg for the freezer - put out and took in washing - remade my bed with clean stuff- cleared up and made space in the bedroom and then we cleared and moved a writing table into the bedroom - its on casters so dont panic! I asked her to stay for tea which I had made while she was doing the veg - a casserole and baked p[ots so easy again - and after tea she moved some stuff from the LR for me - so a lot was accomplished and I threw out 37 things and will more than likely add to that as I potter tomorrow. And I also did her accomodation booking she was needing done for september.

Ok thats me up to date I think - apologies if I have missed any of you - I am trying to keep thigs shorter.
love and hugs to you all
    sleep well
    toots xx

ETA Greenbee, I tried to add you as a friend on FB but it won't let me!

This is confusing me... I think it's something to do with the privacy settings that don't let people search for me, but I don't understand why if you can see me within the flylady group it stops you from adding me. Problem is, I can't find a way of letting you lot see me without letting the whole world know I'm there, and I really don't want to do that!

ETA - toots - well done on getting toxic to make herself useful. At least you're getting something positive out of the relationship now!
