Happy Birthday carlsberggal - hope you are having a great day!

I seem to have fallen off the flying-wagon again this week - I am the one you can see waving away a mile behind & all red-faced trying to catch up ;)
I am doing bits though, keeping it tidy, S&Sing & dusting & hoovering so it won't get too bad.
Next week might be the same as my work hours are changing slightly just for the week. At work at the moment till 7.30pm

But I break up for the summer at the end of next week, so I'm hoping to catch up with the wagon then & have some big clear-outs!

    best wishes to all......

    Afternoon all

I haven't done anything off the lists today, however I have done a load of washing which is dry and put away. I cut the grass back and front and edged it and swept up. I vacuumed through downstairs.

Took the dog to the vet for her checkup, her ear is fine now. The vet was very disappointed.

We went to Slimbridge and spent a nice few hours feeding the ducks and geese. It was very hot though.

Pasta bake is in the oven.

    My feet ache.

    Happy Birthday Carlsberggal :)

    That's lovely Toochoosey :)

SGT where abouts are you going to in Spain

I'm going to be just down the road from the 'top secret event' ;) in Estepona.

More decorating today, sorting mums, making telephone calls re change of address, closing accounts etc. Panic is setting in now, but never mind it will be worth it in the end. :j

I am ashamed to admit I have done no flying today. Well, apart from dailies and one load of washing. But, I have been busy on Plan B and catching up on some rays in the garden. I'm now really tired. The kids are out tonight so I can cook EXACTLY what I want for dinner without thinking 'he won't eat THAT' 'she won't eat THAT' so I'm going to gorge on:

Leeks wrapped in bacon smothered in a cheese sauce and cooked in the oven
    braised celery
baby new potatoes with beetroot and tomatoes

    YUM!

I promise I'll try harder with the flying tomorrow.

Congrats to those who deserve them, commiserations to those who are down/poorly etc.

  • Pollybear I lived just near Slimbridge at Dursley, it's lovely, my favourites are the Ruddy Ducks with their blue beaks!

    SGT Estepona is loooovvvvvveeeerrrrllyyyy.

No flying today as decluttering my exam marking...

Hugs to all in need xxx

    Evening all

zippy - what a gorgeous dog! What kind is he/she?

tooch - loving the nappy cake. It looks so professional! You could maybe make some money?

    kaz - congratulations :D

BF didnt get the job unfortunately. Never mind, I'm a great believer in 'what's meant to be.' Heading out to my aunts now. My sis and the kids are there. It's just so lovely having them here.
  • So after all my worrying that I wouldn't possibly be able to find 100 items to throw away, I decided to tidy out all my make-up bags/boxes and bathroom shelves and that gave me over 100 items

I'm also going to set myself a challenge of not buying any cosmetics and certain toiletries for a while as I found so many different moisturisers, body lotions etc (from cosmetic testing and shop bought) - enough to last me a couple of years!
