Right, does anyone know where my purse is, cause I can't bloomin find it and I'm skint!!!0
-
toochoosey - love the basket, I would have been thrilled to bits with one of those.
Carlsberggal - Happy Birthday!
Deep cleaned the kitchen yesterday so am moving on to the dining room today. Removing everything and only putting back what actually belongs in here. The lists are great but I have got into the habit of just doing what is on the list rather than what actually needs doing.
Don't tell anyone but it looks like I actually have tomorrow free so I think I am going to have some selfish but needed 'me' time. Need to buy some clothes that fit before the school holidays start in a fortnight. Or I could tidy the play room so that it is cleared of tat before school finishes? Decisions, decisions.

Not done any flying today. Been over at my mums and the car had its MOT. DD2 is still at my mums and I've popped back to get DD1 from school and get my work things together then we're over there for tea and I'll go straight to work from there and DH will bring the girls home for bed.
Toochoosey....love the baby gift, it looks great.
Well done on your first day's flying kdean.
Off to sort out my work things out and get to my mums.

Happy Birthday Carlsbergal and have a lovely hot sunny birthday!
Thank you to everyone's kind words regarding the bereavement counselling, it seems to have helped you all a great deal which has made me feel more positive about it. It is 3yrs shortly since dad died suddenly.
Just got back from Cost*o with a new iron (don't own one, well do now!) at a bargain price (£11 cheaper than when offer at Arg*s :j) Off to get a new ironing board tomorrow seen a nice one in Sainsbugs at a good price.
Also some croissants to freeze, a tray of nice looking oranges, a load of garlic, massive tub of mango chutney which has lasted me approx 6mths and some coffee filter pots. Plus the car oil for the oil change also at a bargain price when compared to Halfo*ds.
Had to reign myself in and not buy massive bags of crisps, sweets and choccie and treated myself to a piece of pizza instead
Spent quite a lot but about half on the iron and oil which had to buy anyway but a nice trip out plus it was cracking flags out there!
Just about to bring the crispy washing in from the line now!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Ok, so may have cheated earlier on the 100 fling thingy, but have just picked up 119 items off DDs bedroom floor and its all gone in a black bag and a recycling bag. :T
Easier to do than I imagined! :rotfl:
As everyone keeps saying, baby steps....

hi everyone :hello:
got up this morning (not as early as I should have done admittedly) went to turn on laptop to see what today's tasks were and horror  no computer!
It's been a bit poorly recently and DH had taken it to be looked at.
So I looked around the house and tried to think what needed doing... I scrubbed the sink (flylady style) including sorting out the drainer and all the plastic bits and bobs that don't really have a home and just stay there. The drainer was shamefully grotty and there were rust spots that had marked the sink - any tip for removing these? tried stardrops and it made it shiny but still rust spots.
Later I did a 37 fling - so that's put me a third of the way to the 100. Lots of the clutter came from the bathroom/loo so I'm not doing too badly on that either. Will catch up properly tomorrow....Did HHI but was very slow as it's so hot. Tomorrow will sort out the ironing pile as I think a lot of things the girls will have grown out of by now!weaving through the chaos...0 -
Hello, since my last post I've watered all of my sisters plants. She has a veg plot, a greenhouse, and lots of seedlings and small plants that she will sell to her customers, so all of that needed watering. The flower borders will just have to lump it. It was completely exhausting! What a workout! I came in feeling sick and with jelly legs and had to go lie down! DH helped me for the last bit. I caught the sun tho on my face so I'm now nice and red!
Caught up as far as p.15
Welcome ChoccyBix, nice name BTW!

Triker what a rude woman in the charity shop, I definitely would not go and donate there again
SSL how did your BF get on at the interview?
Well done with the weight loss Hex and Thifty! I’ve been very naughty – I got a cheesecake for dessert last night, only intending to have one slice but none of my friends wanted dessert, so I’ve got the whole blooming thing to eat! I’ve had two slices today already! Doing lots of walking, but even so I doubt I will have lost any weight this week. Very annoying. Tempted to throw the rest away actually
Hex, Have you thought of shopping online? I buy all my clothes online as I hate shopping
Hugs Huston, glad you got the present Ebay problem sorted, very annoying when that sort of thing happens. Your DD sounds very sweet. I’m sure the seller will be able to get their money back from the courier company
Mrs Dawn, sounds like you had a great time in London, was the Lion King good?
Pigpen, what a lovely picture of DS1, GF and Jacob
Well done Rach for freeing up time and working harder so you might finish work a day early, and well done even more for not doing your boss’s work
Hugs Flybabybunting hope that DS2’s teeth all come through soon and that he feels better
Well done Princess Jane for paying off so much of your OD’s
FFP, an after eight cornetto??? That sounds great! I must look for them
Hugs Molly, glad you had a good weekend. Don’t overdo it tho
Natty well done with the veg planting. My sister has a huge veg plot and it looks great! How wonderful to grow your own food

Rosepink - re the cheesecake, I made lemon tart for our visitor at the weekend and binned the rest. I just knew I would eat it otherwise. I finally seem to be learning some self discipline about food
.
I have removed lots of toys from the DR and done the few bits that needed ironing. Struggling with motivation.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
