Huston - I don't know the answer to your question but would recommend you start a thread on the ebay board, they are very knowledgeable.

huston did you pay through paypal? the first thing I would do is raise a dispute for an unreceived item - ebay is on the side of buyers -and follow the procedures - have you looked at t
Cheers for adding me too ironing challange.
Feel free to ignor next bit, just getting it off my chest before I scream........
Yeah we pay everything through paypal. As it was a big item, we went with a power seller 100% feed back, the issue isn't that he hasn't sent it as he has, the mail people have delivered to "I have no idea where" but they are saying that they only deliver to address given (they have correct address) but I was in at the time of supposed delivery, by myself no one has access to the house apart from OH (working) & children (school aged 3&5) - the courier have a signature "stobbs" - have even checked with neighbors.
Anyway I have asked in the ebay forum, so fingers & toes crossed.
I more naffed off because it's Brody's birthday present and her birthday was last week, oh bless her, she never even kick off or cried, she knew we had ordered it and that I was waiting in, when it hadn't come on the Tuesday I sort of mentioned this to her but was saying but it's on its way, now I feel I've lied to her because it's not on the way, she is such a lovely girl, why of why didn't we just go to pc world arrhhhhh.......0 -

Awww thank you for missing me Honey, I missed you while you were away too - glad to hear you sounding better - how are you feeling now....
Oooh, and why are you muttering - what have I missed? Is it mudbath again? what have you been up to this time eh? not that mudbath EVER does anything wrong...:rotfl:
SSL - hope your BF gets the job ~~~~~good luck vibes on their way~~~~~
Triker - if you don't write a letter, you should tell her yourself (actually very impressed that you didn't when she said it to you) It's people like her that stop others from giving in the first place.

Right.. proof of sending does not indicate proof of delivery..
Get a claim in through paypal and the seller will have to take it up with the courier.. the courier is the one at fault and the contract is between the seller and the courier..
The courier should be able to provide a copy of the signature from the supposed delivery if they cannot then they are lying.. if it is not the sig. of you or OH they are committing fraud by claiming that it is.. or by the actual driver forging your or OH's sig. and can be sued..
go get them!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Been to the auctions at Aylsham today with my Mum so not much done about the house. Got a nice bargain in the flower auction, two big bunches of assorted flowers, with some nice unusual flowers in them, some big aliums, strange exotic looking spiky things, gerberas and foliage plants for £1 a bunch, gave one to ds3's teacher and one to the SENCo they were both very pleased, told them they could have them now as I had seen a bargain ,rather than at the end of term when they would have loads of flowers

Welcome to Ladygrim, liamsmum. Choccybix and anyone else I missed on the last thread
cally_c - hope your daughter enjoyed her prom, its a fab occasion for them. DS had his last year and DD is planning hers now - she's 10 !!!!!
thriftyscotslass - welcome back and sorry to hear about your DD (sorry thought it was DD then read something else and not sure if it was DS)
froddington - well done on losing your 2lbs
greenbee - sorry I missed the end of last weeks thread, am I right in thinking thats things dont look good for you and your team. I know its been going on some time but I thought there had been some hope. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you and send some positive vibes.
huston - the hospital story sounds interesting - do tell
rach - hope you enjoyed your hols and really hope the reasoning for saying no to the extra work went well
Triker - 100 things to get rid of every day, wow thats some challenge, maybe I should try it after OH goes back to work on Thursday
soappie - so glad your DS and DIL got the mortgage offer
Pauper1 - Hope the dramas werent too traumatic
Jo - you're not anaemic are you. if the tiredness doesnt improve with plenty of sleep might be worth asking for a blood test.
this is it - welcome back and just remember it can seem overwhelming so take baby steps
welcome back likklegibbon
Mrs Beatson - you seem to do really well with your lists, please can you send some of your motivation to me
poohbear - Hope your poor DD gets over her scare soon, trouble is the quickest way is to get out there as quick as possible and often
Triker - I cant believe the attitude of the woman in the charity shop, he perhaps needds to remember what charity is all about. I love your expressions - you have a fabulous way with words
toochoosey - you sounds just like me when I go out (dont do it often either)
sunshinesheli - dont knock yourself, you are not a bad flylady. We all have times where we have other things to do or we CBA but that doesnt make us bad. Look at the poitive side of things, if all you have done is load the dishwasher or the washing up then thats a h3ll of a lot better than leaving them until the morning etc.
ouch mummyof5, why is it we always seem to 'rescue' the kids. Must check which phone I have insured too!
boddy - good luck with the worming stuff, I usually where thin rubber gloves when dealing with cats, the gloves offer some protection from the claws...... ouch. Hope mum and DD both ok
skintscotlass - Positive interview vibes for your BF
hex2 - another well done on weight loss, mines going in the opposite direction so need to keep it in check before it gets too far.
thifty - good luck with the viewings and great weight loss too
huston - sounds like a tricky situation re the parcel, hope it gets resolved quickly
pigpen _ i'm with you on the how many drawings can you keep, we have boxes in the attic but every time I go to throw one away she did it for something/someone 'special'
Mrs Dawn - sounds like you had a great birthday weekend
Flylady - thanks for asking - he got a final written warning, goes back to work on Thursday night
and Hex - they apparently ARE giving him his leave back that he would have taken - 11 shifts !! He only works 14 a month and already has a week booked off in July plus 2 in August and he has to use it all by mid - Oct! Think he might be at home a lot again
Pigpen - what a lovely photo, both DS and Jacob are h3llishly handsome lads
Flying - have done WM x 2 and TD x 2, DW x 1 and a bit of a wipe round kitchen this evening
Right I'm off for a wander round some more threads then bed.
Night allMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Evening all
I am proud of myself as I managed to not take on any extra work with my boss being off - only to make sure all the partner agencies know the situation, but I've had some time freed up as my 2 handover meetings ahve been cancelled. I also told the boss I am hoping to finish a day earlier than I am suppossed to as I'm accruing toil this week (in early today). Nightmare journey home today (2.5 hours!) hopefully it's a one off. ready for bed now!
flying, have made sure everything is straight and dh washed up after dinner. did a small shop too.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
