Hex2 congratulation on the weight loss:T keep it up!!!

Never got HHI done, had ebay issue, we ordered a birthday present for our daughter over two weeks ago, and I have been waiting in for it all day every day since.Oh emailed seller and to ask where it was, they sent back a consign number, so went to the website and apparently it got delivered on the 10th, so we called up the mail company as the person they said signed for it we have never heard of, they said they only deliver to the given address, but it had oh name but I told them he was at work and we could get proof of this, I said that I'd been in at the time that it was meant to of been delivered and nobody came to the door. I even went around neighbors on the off chance, we have had to email back the seller as per instructions from mail people, so not sure where it goes from here.

It's typical order daughter present for birthday and it gets delivered to I have no idea where, and it was her birthday last week - she keeps saying when is it coming? She was really looking forward to it as well, I mean she had other stuff but this was the "big one" and I really feel like either crying or screaming, I'm so pleased that she is understanding and not the type to kick off, she just keeps saying when is it coming and I can't wait for it to come I'm so excited.

Does anyone know where we stand on this? We can get proof that OH was at work because he uses security log on at work and that's where he was, and they said driver input OH name but he wasn't here, I was in the house and nobody came to the door. But mail people say they only deliver to address given (they have correct address)

I promised myself I wouldn't come on MSE till I had done today's tasks...but clearing floors and surfaces is a bigger task than I thought! :o

Still, I have made a big difference - a trip to the charity shop and returning some books to a friend and the floors (downstairs) will be clear.:j Almost cleared kitchen worktop of paperwork. The clutter in the hallway is all DH's - I have no control over that so am I allowed to leave it?

Relieved to read that tomorrow's task is to change beds as that is what I'd planned to do anyway - I've been filling a bin bag for the charidee so I will actually achieve an extra tomorrow as well!

thanks for all the motivation everyone! off to seek inspiration on the meal planning thread...

I was far too tired to get to the gym tonight... just about made it home! I think it's the stress.

I have, however, got my ibook up and running on my broadband. It's quicker than the work access too!

I'm now getting my software updates sorted (from OSX 10.4.3 to 10.4.11, so I expect it will take a while... then I need to do the Microsoft and Firefox updates...). Toots has reminded me that I need to sort out some kind of AV.

I'm also having a problem with my email, in that both Mail and Entourage, which I could send from via dial up will only receive using broadband and not send. My mother has the same problem, but not my dad. The only difference I can think of is that he connects wirelessly and my mum and I use a cable... I can see I need to catch up on the technical aspects of this - I've forgotten it all over the last few years :o
