greenbee - congrats on completing the walk :T :T :T You should sleep well tonight !

flower - I've just found a book on Amazon written for children so I'm going to order it. There's a really cute picture book too but I think he'll find that too babyish.

    pigpen - you've done loads today :T

Yes, very well done Greenbee - I couldn't do that, so very impressed - WTG girl! :T:T:T:T:T

Glad you've found something you think you can use, what's the book called Froddy? it might be useful to know as there is more and more of it about now isn't there? Sounds good though.

KAZ - VERY impressed on the bedroom - way to go! also, not cheapskate on the invites - average £20,000 for a wedding is ridiculous - save your money for you both, not someone making out of people because they want a special day... you go girl!

Valli - I had to laugh at your DS - they bounce back so easily at that age don't they - mind, didn't know he had split with his old girlfriend - hugs to him for that - and there was you wearing hats to her mum & dad's for dinner.... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Love they way you're 'helping' him decide :rotfl:

Just been sent this - http://www.inquisitr.com/27540/one-of-the-best-pictures-out-of-iran/ - think you might all appreciate it!

OK, I'm going to sort out the washing and hang up what's just finished then put another load on, then take photographs of the stuff I want to EBay - finally... THEN I can come back on the computer... (am making myself do this or it won't get done - infact I am making myself do a lot today, has been a lazy week.)

Kazm - what a transformation! I reall hope she appreciates it enough to try and keep on top of it now.

Still lots to do here, might get on with the BR first but then a deep clean of the LR.

Would you please all stop going on about how hot it is and how lovely the weather is :mad::mad: It's horrid here. More haar, I'm so fed up with it :mad::mad: Poor triker - she's certainly not seeing us at our best.

look at this poxy weather forecast http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/5?area=EH26

Just popping in briefly, haven't caught up yet, but wanted to tell you all that James Morrison last night was absolutely fantastic!! DD bought me a ticket for my birthday, and I am so glad she did, love her to bits for it! She and her friendsqueued from 1.30pm - gates opened at 4pm - in the very heavy downpour and thunderstorm, and were in the second row. I came later, but managed to join them.

Fortunately the weather improved late afternoon, and it was a perfect evening. Fabulous atmosphere, and James Morrison was brilliant live.

I'm going to ask DS1 to put on a photo of DD from the prom later...but now I'm off to the allotment before it gets too warm.
