Yes, I would get my own estate agent valuations done (I got 5 or 6 done and sent in the lower 3) then if the drive by valuation is higher you can use the ones as a negotiating tool. BE sure you say you want a quick sale and point out all the bad bit of the house.

Hi folks, Shazbo beat me to it but I was thinking the same, year nearly over..been a strange one!

I've still got another 34 days to go, not going to get an early discharge now I guess lol

Still as unemployed as the day I went bankrupt, losing track of job applications but that's the world we live in now, can only keep trying and hope that my '22' years experience means something to someone. Bankruptcy has gone smoothly, just contact at the 6 month stage and nothing else has been heard from the OR! I went Bankrupt in Scotland under the LILA scheme so had nothing to lose personally and I will come out the other side all the better for having a clearer head these days. Its amazing how long a £20 note can last in your pocket when you actually 'think' about what your spending it on rather than just spending for fun, prudence will be my lesson from the past year amongst other things!

My wife managed to struggle on but she too was declared Bankrupt on 10th March this year, its been tough on her but like me, she will get through it and together we will be better for it when we no longer have to meet costs we simply couldn't afford. For all the debts, the fact we have nothing to show for it is the most painful thing, if we had been extravagant then that's one thing but our debt came about from just trying to survive, no doubt many others will experience this hard lesson in life as the jobs start to be lost in the months ahead through the cuts! My wife is actually now being made redundant after surviving a period of administration for her company last year, fingers are crossed a possible last minute move will see her keep a job and we will up sticks and move to a new part of Scotland to regroup, my job for the next few weeks is packing boxes because no matter what happens we cannot afford to stay here when her job goes!

So looking forward to the 31st of July and discharge...first step in moving on...and then 2 days later I will turn 40!!! Life begins as they say :-)

    Keep the Faith!!
