Can I join this group? Husband and I BR in Lancaster Court on 8 July.
Feeling relieved and apprehensive as both also redundant due to our business also failing.
Still, looking on the bright side, we are enjoying the summer holidays with our young sons and, despite not yet receiving JSA due to over-run DWP, we have a positive number on our bank account for the first time in years.0 -

I was looking for this to join. Nearly a year to the day my OH & I went BR on 27 July 2009 @ 11.40 & 11.45 resp.
Asked the clerk if we could see judge together to make it quicker for them, as the court seemed to stick BR's in the middle of big cases opening & closing. She said no probs. Kids were great didn't say a word. Only 4 & 2 so they don't really know what's going on. Judge even said what two delightful children we have & wished us all the best for the future.
Only bummer was we got a parking ticket for overstaying... Never mind can't win them all.
OR int booked for 1st Sept @ 2pm, Oh 2 Sept 12pm - his b'day!.
Well done everyone.

Quick question...................................
as some of you know, I've just got a job :j
First day today, went great .......
Only problem (or, not?) is I am expected to have a company expenses, credit card :eek:
Now deeply concerned! Have no idea what the limit will be, did NOT want to ask.........
I'm not directly aplying for credit though...? I'm NOT about to use the card for anything other than what it should be...
Does my OR need to know?
Am I having a panic attack over nothing...please advise guys....

I had my OR telephone interview last week. It lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes. Not the most comfortable thing I have ever done, though the OR (or his assistant) did his job professionally and my discomfort was down to me realising how stupid I had been to rack up such debts when answering the OR.
I got an IPA which I fully expected. Hoping I can keep my car but the decision isn't yet made. Just need to try and get a couple of further bits of info for the OR.0 -

Congrats motivate11 good news indeed.... please keep us updated with events.
I also not heard anything since July, I have received a letter from the taxman this week informing me i will have a Nil tax code although this has not taken effect on my DEC pay so guess it will be Jan, which means just 3 months of Moon Beaver (just keep wanting to say pig!! LOL)
I am thinking of writting to the OR (well my wife writting) to buy the BI at the interview i was asked if she would be like to buy (value is likley to be negetivive after selling fees) to which i answered yes and he said a drive by valuation would be the next step.
Should i write and send in some propoerty details ? A Hous a few doors down sold a few months ago for only a little more than our mortgage, I am also going to get our own valuation done by estate agents just to be sure.
Seems things are moving really slooowly,BR as of 24th July 20090
