  • I am a lot more nervous about this part than the court (although I did think the court would be scary, which it was not). I have spoken to my OR seems really nice just doing a job not judgmental just needs the information.

I have an hour :eek::eek: to go now, another cup of tea...

All my paperwork laid out accross the table will post here when its all done.

I find it strange he does not yet have a copy of my paperwork as I still need to send in the pack which i received on Friday, today is Tuesday. So he has none of my credit card statments or bank statments, payslips etc.... I did ask if this was ok and he was fine with it said you can just post them afterwards..

Be glad to be over this hurdle, still getting lots of calls from card companies, the automated type, I just been ignoring them for now just wanted to get past the interview.

  • Interview all done.... Gosh...soooooo glad its over!! :T

Okay, so not as bad, they are just doing a job and are very understanding of the stressful time it all is. I was giving myself a hard time as i did not have all the exact dates and numbers, I had my statements for last 12 months only.

Firstly he covered the reasons for why i went bankrupt.

Then the mortgage, have we re-mortgaged, if so when and who with how much were the payments, was the mortgage increased what did we do with the money. Which in my case was clear of previous debts (which were built up again, over the years).

Next he covered each card and debt in turn, when did you open the account / card?, what was it used for? how much are you paying ? When did you last use it ?

He said as there was little or no equity wife would be offered the BI, they would do a drive by valuation but if they are happy with valuation it can be purchased for a fee of £211.

He was happy with the SOA, said that he will not need any further info and is happy, that a report will be sent of in about 6 weeks time to the creditors. He is sending me info about my nil tax code and collection, i need to open a bank account now.

Phew....... so glad that bit is done, I am really starting to look forward to getting finance back in order and knowing exactly what i have and NOT have just to be able to budget properly. Yipeeeeee

Hope everyone else is going well

  • Hello everyone.

Just wanted to join the club, I was declared bankrupt on July 31st in Bonnie Scotland under the LILA scheme..wrote my tale of woe elsewhere on the forum so won't repeat it here...Just counting down the days and months till discharge and enjoying the thought of not getting hassled any longer...If all goes to plan then I will be discharged 31st July 2010 (though sooner would be nice) and turn 40 two days later!!!!...Life will truly begin and I can't wait....Did I say I HATE the Clydesdale Bank, just wanted to throw that in there!!!
Never Regret anything that made you Smile - :D
