oh yes B&Q have responded. Just waiting for the 'defence' and then the court date. B&Q seem to be ignoring me now, so I may just ignore them until court. As the song went "two can play that game".

B&Q have a sit down meeting with Trading Standards at the end of the month, i would love to be a fly on the wall. I wonder if they have my picture up on the staff noticeboard?

I recently got a £900+ settlement from B&Q for an item ( fairly rare laundy equipment) that was over 12months old ( so out of standard warranty) but that I showed I was unable to get repaired -( so not serviceable within SOGA) - neither could they,but they refused replacement and later my requested refund ( not for full value)- took months , so had to issue MCOL - which they defended - even after I got a call from legal dept saying they agreed with me. In fairness the guy at Legal dept was OK.. but of course he left before it was finally settled.
