Lou - thanks for the offer of rice pudding, but it's far too hot!! Or do you have it cold? I like mine hot with some tinned pears!
MM - pictures are gorgeous. He is a proper little man isn't he?
GISI - great scan pictures. I am still jealous of all those getting 20 week scans! I haven't seen my baby since week 12!
Jvic - read your BS. Glad everything worked out, and that Tomos is home safe and sound. It must have been a frightening experience. Hope you get over it, and if you decide to go through it again, you will have a better one next time.
I learned something today during the debate - there are different breech positions! And that one is called a footling - not a footlong, which is a huge sub and how I read it the first time!! Doh.

I think mine might have been both to be fair. He was 8lb when born by elective c section at 38 weeks! Hate to think what he'd have weighed in at had I gone to 40 weeks or even over...:D0 -
Thanks Tia. I can only assume that the baby takes most of my nutrients or something!
Right, I am off to make lunch for tomorrow and then go to bed as I am shattered.
Sorry for the long posts - I hate catching up at this time of night. I don't want to ignore anyone who has posted throughout the day, but feel I am just interrupting our conversations with my ramblings!! Night all. x0 -
Are you expressing SM?
I have never breastfed, so the only thing I know is expressing. I have actually started to find it OK, after the first few days where my nipples bled and I was in agony getting no milk at all !! But this evening I have managed to get over 80ml in one sitting
Apparently that is really good for day 5 and will probably be at over 150ml per sitting by next week.
Still havent decided if I am going to continue to do this after he is home, not sure if I want to try breastfeeding only to turn around and give him a bottle, or to just keep expressing and let him have a bottle, or to give up and let him have formula.
For now, I know mummy milk os what he needs, so I will happily ignore the swollen nipples and the rock hard boobies and the pain when you touch them !!!The two best things I have done with my life
