    wish I'd had chips now!

I got in the car and talked myself into getting a baguette instead!

I want to use the birthing pool for pain relief but as I'm being induced that's not likely now

Glam should hve gone for the chips, on this whole pain relief. I just think it's up to the lady herself as she is the one that knows her body and pain threshold and no one should be able to judge her because we will never be able to walk in her shoes. This is goes for medical professionals as well. What may suit one person may not suit enough. I ve had big massive men hold my hand and nearly break it whilst having a injection to a little old lady having the same injection without flinching so everyone has a diffrent threshold and should not be judged on that.
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j

    Than aless and Glam.

Glam, the op if he gets the one he wants, should sort it. His Auntie had it dones about 15 years ago, and lives a normal life, with a few flare ups, but nothing major. He will need to make changes to his lifestyle, but as far as i'm concerned that can only be for the better. Its just a case of whether they do it all in one go or in two seperate ops.(If at all). He is panicking and wanting it done asap, so he can be ok when the baby arrives.

Nicki - you take offense too easily. I was saying it was carp & irresponsible of the MIDWIVES to only offer one thing and not even attempt to discuss pain relief with her. It was like, "you want some [drug] now, right?" and that was it.

As he's already in hospital you'd think they would do it sooner rather than later - he's already there so could take a short notice slot and they would be better off from a resource point of view to have him there in recovery rather than as he is in now.
Get him to explain to Consultant about baby on way and DS at home and the need for him to be fully recovered by the time baby comes along. Am sure they would understand this.

WM you're doing so well to hold it together with all that going on. I'm struggling to get through today at work and I have nothing negative going on in my life at the moment!!

When OH is constantly moaning about things I always have to remind him that there are others out there that are far less fortunate than us. He then proceeds to ramble on regardless - MEN!

My Oh is the same. He has a very cushy job which he generally really, really enjoys. He only has to work about 12 to 18 hours per week and earns the same as me, working 37 hours a week in a job I don't like. Yet he texts me from work all the time complaining he's bored and not having a good night. If he had what I deem to be a "proper" job working long hours like everyone else I think he'd be in for a big shock!!
